Why does this medicine cost 40,000 every 2 1/2 weeks?

No one can still explain, WHY?!?!

Is there any evidence of these so called “updated” manufacturing faculties?

Will the price go up again this year?

its high to help the patients we so desperately want to. This is according to HO. That’s what he said yesterday in not so many words. This place is going down.

You don’t expect our executives to play golf at a municipal course do you?

    Vacation homes cost money.
    Sports cars cost money.
Getting your mediocre offspring into an Ivy League school costs money.
Don’t even get me started on the cost of mistresses and divorce lawyers....

Hell, we should be charging more!

So for MNK overpaying for unproved big juice that justifies raping patients and bankrupting small towns ? They are the ones who fucking over paid for a cheap medicine cause they saw a loophole in the system ? Payers are sure not paying for it either so eventually no revenues from it is justifiable ? Go back to your cubical you fuck stick.

I’m sorry you don’t like facts. If you pay a high price for something you try to recoup your investment. Im sorry you don’t like capitalism comrade. If it were bug juice providers would not write it

Providers write it because they are lied to by the rep and the reps manager about Efficacy and side fix. It’s all false claims marketing fraud. Not to mention criminally priced.
Asstar is garbage. Mnk is for soulless consciousless greed driven people. If you work there and are happy you are broken internally, seek help.

always fun to trade ideas and comments with emotional half wits on social media. Doctors are actually pretty smart and know what works and what doesn’t work with their patients

Why is someone an emotional half wit for telling the truth about Acthar? It’s criminally priced and for most of the indications there’s not enough evidence to make an fda approved efficacy claim. Making claims without evidence is fraud.

I get the sense that if I keep throwing facts your way that you are going to lose your mind.
    1. Paid a lot for Acthar -approx 5.6 B. Fact check it!
    2. Annual sales must recoup those costs
    3. Rare and serious disease = low volume of patients. If volume of patients higher could charge less. Economics 101
    4. Liberal Patient Assistance Program covers cost for needy/uninsured for free
    5. Does cost money to promote it

Please try to respond with some facts or science and will gladly upgrade you from half wit status

Rare and serious disease??? Rheum arthritis is not rare. Nor is nephrotic syndrome. The numbers you publicly share skew it conveniently so you can say rare. If you charged less more people would use it. Why was it once much less a vial? Why did you not jack the price up to $40 k a vial right away. Answer, you couldn’t sell it to the masses because it’s a crap drug. You spin this as a rare disease drug to justify the jacked up cost. Nice try Hugh. Oh and the stock price is your fault. And. I, you aren’t that bright. If you were you would have figured out how to land another drug here. You haven’t.

Because we have a lot of worthless VPs who are friends of Hugh to pay for.

These people don’t loiter around for free. It costs a lot for them to bestow their ignorance and arrogance on us.

Best answer because it’s true. Greed is why it costs so much

welcome back half-wit. Again, instead of challenging yourself by correctly spelling the word greed, please try to bring some facts. Yes, it’s used for rare disease. It’s only used on a subset of Rheum patients and other difficult to treat patients. If it were used commonly, it would likely cost less. Again - a price x volume equation. Maybe economics 101 is not your game.

So your argument is that since only a few people need the unproven drug, you are justified in charging so much for it???? You need a different kind of drug my friend.
