Why no generic Symbicort?

You could be right about who made the post; I do not know.

But the question remains, and you are diverting by killing the messenger. The question remains: Why in the world does the American health care system pump millions of dollars into this idiotic product? Europe won't issue a patent for Symbicort any more than they'll issue a patent for the color brown. It is an outrageous wonder of bureaucracy that this can of crap sells for $200 bucks. The only thing the product has going for it is lots of people pushing it. That's why there are so many AZ reps.

 

Symbicort was in Europe 5 years before the US. Its already run off patent over there in some places.

So I don't get your point.
