Why would members of BoD want D'Enron to be around?

Before anyone answers:

Consider that most are named in civil suits that have 100% merit.

Consider that all of them know what is happening in the criminal case.

Consider if people are going to be locked up what that means for the success of the civil suits.

Now you can give your answers.

 

You need to learn that nearly the entire senior management team and most of the senior sales & marketing management have been replaced. Gold was forced to resign from his Chief executive Officer and Chairman of the Board duties. He was pushed out of the Company. His sole involvement with the Company are short quarterly conference calls.

No doubt that Gold is a disgrace and should be and hopefully will be in jail. Your constant rants here do nothing but damage the company and hurt Dendreon employees and hurt cancer patients. You need to separate Gold from the Company. Gold has essentially left in disgrace. Gold today has minimal contact with the Company. Your actions here are hurting totally innocent people. You are seeking to personally profit from the damage you cause. You need to develop a conscious and stop hurting innocent people. Your constant lying about the company really needs to stop.

 

You need to end this "Destroy Dendreon" campaign you are one. You actions are completely unjustified and it highlights your poor character and poor moral fiber. Get a life !!!

 

There are a lot of distinct voices raising these issues, it's not "one mean person" any more than there is one mean person shorting the company keeping the stock low.

There were 6 very guilty parties, Gold being one.

The BoD is *extremely* important to a company. If the BoD is only concerned with lawsuits and criminal defense, it is curled into a fetal position and the company dies.

Why do you think it took a year to change directions from massive overspending on facilities? Why did it take even longer to deal with massive overstaffing in admin? Why did compliance jobs go unfilled and overpaid cronies get put into legal and HR.

It was all about a company that couldn't focus on business as they were busy considering their legal liabiilities.

You don't survive this sort of shit by letting people stay on the board! Even Qwest knew better.

It's sad, the product and follow-ons from our science were so promising.

They are there to get the doors closed on the company as quickly as possible.

Ignoring problems for over a year, chasing away a sales force, getting rid of the science team, and then spending $200M to correct them is about as fast as you can run it into the ground.

It should last 6-8 qtrs, they will get the doors closed in 2 or 3.

The company won't terminate the embarrassment, so the embarrassment will terminate the company.

No sensible company leaves criminals on the board and claims they cleaned up because they left the management team.

Gold has not left in disgrace. He has a position that millions of people would love to have. He is a director on Dendreon's board. Your idol Brad Loncar would do anything to be a director for Dendreon. He would be a good director too. An honest one.

You are hurting innocent people by supporting a company that harbors criminals when you should push for them to sell the company to a company that would get provenge to as many people as possible. Dendreon has chosen to protect and harbor Gold and others. By making that choice they have told the world that protecting themselves from the law is their first prioroty. Cancer patients, shareholders, bondholders are far back on their list of priorities obviously or Gold would no longer be on their BoD.

I am not short, so there is no profit in Dendreon's demise. This is about law and order and what is best for cancer patients.

There is an almost entirely new management team at Dendreon. Prior senior management is essentially completey out of the company. Not accepting this is the product of a delusional and sick mind. You have real problems seeing reality. Clear pathology of a paranoid schizophrenic.

 

It is frightening to see you self destruct on not 1 bulletin board but 2 bulletin boards. You are once again posting on that other bulletin board and getting destroyed again. The truth will always be told here and the truth is that the Board of Directors of a company is the CEO's boss and essentially everyone's boss. The BoD is the same. One died recently and obviously is no longer on the BoD. One other is no longer there. The rest are still there and as you can see from the civil suits may be personally liable for what happened on August 3, 2011 and everything after that. They also know exactly what is going on in the Federal case. Those are people who would be much better off if D'Enron goes bankrupt. I think D'Enron will be sold before bankruptcy, but people who would be better off if D'Enron goes bankrupt do not have the best interests of shareholders or cancer patients.

A single board seat at Dendreon has about as much power and influence at the company as the janitor position. Gold's board seat will completely disappear in 2 years or sooner. A 15 minute conference call every three months does not run a company. Senior management at Dendreon is nearly completely new. New management has nearly cleaned the house of prior management. All one needs to do is explore Linkedin website and anyone with a functioning brian can plainly see that senior management was replaced. This is true for all senior management functions from operations, to sales, to legal. Criminals are not being "harbored". This is a delusion from a sick mind. Gold, like Sam Waksal, should be in jail, but neither plays any material role in running, guiding, or overseeing the companies they once ran. The new companies are not the old companies.

The board seat offered Gold was meant to save face for the guy who ran the company for over a decade. Urdal has a seat as well. The salary they receive has no bearing as it is small. Urdal will have minimal influence on Dendreon going forward, but still more than Gold. Gold and Urdal are out but still has shares.

Attacking Dendreon for "harboring" Gold makes as much sense as attacking Imclone and screaming like a pyscho thay Imclone should be shut down or destroyed during the period Waksal was forced to step down as CEO, but remained on the board before he was convicted and went to federal prison. Your arguments defy basic logic. Having Gold on the BOD has no influence whatsoever on a possible acquisition. So your constant rants about "harboring criminals" preventing an acquisition that would help cancer patients makes about as much sense as all the rest of the constant meaningless garbage you post here. Gold and Schiffman are still here. The highest paid HR guy in the US still here. The entire board besides someone who died and one other are still here. Why is Waller no longer here and Gold, Schiffman and Ranieri are still here? Whole company is essentially the same besides the dismissal of Gold's hand picked Rosen.

D'Enron is harboring not 1 criminal but many criminals. D'Enrons first priority is not cancer patients, not shareholders and not bondholders. It is a company covering up crimes first and foremost. A company's BoD is its highest management and you are lying and deceiving in order to chase lost money that you will never get back.

There is not 1 voice on your side in this issue. You are a lone person defending the indefensible. There are multiple people who know this is D'Enron. There is one clueless underwater long who tells lies here all day. That is you. You chasing your money will go on until there are mutiple arrests and/or bans from public companys. These arrests and/or bans will occur while these people are working for and/or on the BoD. This is because the company never cleaned up because they are covering up. If Gold was the only criminal, he would have been gone long ago. Many are complicit. 60 to 5 wasn't good enough for you. you will ride it all the way down. The board is important.

At some point, the company went from exuberant to criminal. At that point, the 3rd facility was continued as part of the pump scheme.

When the pump was over and the dump was executed, there was clearly no reason for the 3rd facility and the company bloat. However, both maintained the fiction that it was exuberance, so the board didn't want to do anything.

Nothing was done for a full year. JJ could see what was up at his interview, but it took him 6 months to start to bring costs in line.

That's what happens with a board looking back to cover their ass rather than ahead to run a biz.
