Talks are underway, announcement coming at year end and deal will close by the end of the first half of 2019. Expansion/elimination to follow as the dead weight is culled from both companies and then refreshed with new MEAT.

PLEASE do not worry about the upcoming layoffs. Women's health will not be impacted. Negotiations are ongoing to expand our portfolio and we are safe for the future. Timing may not be perfect bit this deal will close in the first half of 2019. Management team will not risk losing important relationships tp layoffs. Only those who choose early retirement will be affected and that is by choice. STAND PAT!!!!!!!!!!!

We in Women's health have not heard of any type of expansionetc. Are you sure what you are saying is correct? Besides we have no control over the layoffs. If we are selected then it's a done deal. Thanks anyway!

Look can we be honest here? Women's health has been on a drain on Pfizer since its inception. The Premarin portfolio sells it self and most of the other product that are not promoted do very well. Women's health, is just a place to put a bunch of old biddies who can't sell their way out of paper bag. ( Are the Premarin numbers improving? I don't think so!!) It helps Pfizer keep it's numbers up with diversity. For this very reason it maybe spared the knife and a downsizing. There will be no expansion or new products or a take over. Someone is blowing smoke up your ass but please don't think that you add anything to the bottom line. You just happen to be the right gender and Pfizer needs that to show its commitment to diversity!!!!

Yes you are, honey. While the rest of us men go to high paying biotech jobs and listen to you sqwuak about “being paid less than men, blah, blah, blah.”

Sadly, this is probably true. Meritless affirmative action is the policy here at Pfizer.

Look Women's health is as it should be, comprised of mostly women. Yes there are a few token men but we as women interact much better discussing Women's health. The fact that we are being promoted is a result of the discrimination that we have suffered for decades. We have been passed over simply because we are Women. Now, men are feeling the pain of discrimination and of course are crowing, shall we say like Women, that it is not fair. HA! Just remember this, the decisions being made are being made by Men. Men are still in charge of this company and most other corporations!

Sexism at its finest, folks. As a female, I am appalled. Best person for the job should be promoted, plain and simple. The above “victim” speaks for very few of us.

Hypocrisy at its best. Typical of the “oppressed”. But your love to stick it to them when it benefits YOU.

It appears as the deal we were hoping for has fallen through and we will not be acquiring another entity to bolster our portfolio. Exec team looking to unload our portfolio. I'm not sure there will be buyers at the price they are seeking but it's a bit of a set back. All senior leaders are looking to abandon Women's health and avoid the inevitable. My advice is to wait it out or see if you can find a spot very quickly because with upcoming layoffs, there will be a lot of competition.

Big news, WH will be employing people from the migrant caravan. English skills not needed to perform samples drops and lunch catering. Huge cut to payroll expense. Win win. Hold on to your shares!
