There is a sales position open in my area and I was hoping someone would be willing to share their positive & negative experiences with the job &/or the company??? Also, what a typical day might look like? Any tboughts or advice is greatly appreciated!
The work environment is work. It's a demanding job that is not for everyone. Bottom line, if you work hard and have a desire to be successful you will get paid. Great industry... pharma reps will sink.
Re: Work environment - STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU'RE UNEMPLOYED! VWR is in a horrible place today. US leadership is completely out of touch with the business. Segmentation, SAP, E-biz, high turnover, a new president that is out to lunch and new leadership that doesn't have a clue about the lab is killing this company. There is high turnover, little to know knowledge transfer and a big disconnect with management and the rest of the company that is creating a perfect storm for every competitor that VWR has. The entire company is in a miserable funk and major changes are needed soon (at the top in the US) to prevent a free fall. Reps are leaving by the dozen! Steer clear unless you're unemployed.
