Working with Inside Sales

What has been your experience in working with inside sales? I manage inside sales teams for a number of large healthcare clients, and want to better understand from a field rep perspective what works well and what needs refinement. Managers tend to coat with fluff, but I know I'll get the real story from the field reps. Thanks!
