Worst Managers?!

    the worst mgr is not your dm. It’s the manager who hired the worst dm.

    The hiring regional manager hired these brainless micromanaging box checkers who clearly lack leadership competencies.

    Ironically, they hire DMs with similar competencies. Known as the buddy system.

    Regional managers hire managers not leaders. Any moron can manage. Not every moron can lead and have the gonads to step up and ask the tuff questions or make a decision that involves thinking for themselves and what’s in the best interest of the local geography or their providers.

    This is the demise of big blue.

    Big Blue Fear Factor. Regional managers and their dm’s.

    Agree. The problem is that this has been going on for 20 years. It's not going to change it's the PFE way but you are absolutely correct w/ your post. Your direct manager is only as good as the one above.

    Ali Jones, RM, Cluster 1 Western Region. Will lie, cheat and steal to get sales. Has her representatives take product tests together. Plays favorites big time. Not a good person.

    A two year old thread lives on. Two years from now people will still be posting. Eventually with the way this industry is going all the DMs will be gone ( and btw-so will we). Enjoy your job while you still have it. Understandably, people like to bitch (this is CP), but come on....how many jobs pay like this with the freedom we have and the amount of actual work we do???

    Just about every middle management job up to the CEO in all large companies do less than even us. That's why we all want to move up in our careers.

    LG in Atlanta is the worst of them all. A complete racist!!!! If you are a minority please done believe what he says. He should have been long gone by now!!! Nothing worse than an undercover racist!!!! Wow!!!!

    Holy crap. Lee must have really pissed you off. I bet your a worthless piece of crap who expected an easy ride. Give an example of what makes him racist. You post this garbage, try to publicly shame him with nothing to back it up. Your a worthless turd that should have been flushed before you were hired.

    I have never ever observed or seen Lee act in a racist way to anyone. He may show favoritism towards a couple of his reps. However, never ever racism.

    Get a life.

    The complete waste of a paycheck over New Orleans district in derm, DC is completely incompetent and has scored low on all his surveys, reps have left in droves from his district, how does he keep his job? TW that's how, only reason he got hired with no prior management to a specialty team. He needs to be looked at.

    Bids of a feather flock together, DM in Cali is horrible and is female. Only worried about herself and how much bonus we can make for her. But leads you to believe she really cares for you with her fake tears come out right before voice survey comes out.

    I applied to this position recently. Please tell me more about this manager. Are their any reps that work/worked for him that I can speak to?!

    He has 3 open territories right now (out of 10) If you’re in derm already look around for a business card and call one of them.

    I don’t think he’s made it 6 months without at least one open territory since launch. Should be all you need to know. If you must have a job it’s fine but if you have choices turn and walk away. You cannot trust anything Pfizer tells you in interview process. Metric driven crazy town

    One rep. But primary care is selling drug to pcps.

    Run from Duane. If you're unemployed run to him. Any other predicament run away as fast as you can. Even if you have high melanin skin content, RUN!
