hello! I was just offered a position with Alcon, it's in the lease division where you sell to box stores and eye care places. I am currently in Pharma at Allergan, primary care. This job offered pays more and is considered a device position. I see a lot of topics around Alcon failing and it seems Turbulent at the moment. Is it worth making the move ? I really can't afford it it's a tough risk!! Thanks
until Novartis sells Alcon, knee jerk reactions, insane decisions will be order of the day as Alcon has become insignificant to Novartis and is run by Novartis Yes Men who can't wait to get back to the mothership. The big thing in next quarters will be improving profitability which means layoffs and disruption. If things are okish at Allergan, you willl be crazy to move.
