I know, I know, I have been tardy to the party this year with the games....I will try to do better next season and log onto my laptop more often. (But using my phone is just so damned easy, and I don't use CP on my phone.) Thoughts from a Clemson fan about the game last night. Honestly, everyone where I work part time was so conciliatory towards me today. The way I see it, we were #3 going into the playoffs and finished the playoffs as #2. So, not bad. Clemson lost their first game in 30 (THAT'S THIRTY!) games last night, so now that we've got a loss in there, things can settle down. It was bound to happen, right? At least it was to the NUMBER ONE TEAM in the country who just happened to also have the #1 QB. He'll be gone next year, so we'll have another shot. My hat is off to LSU (although I will never forgive or forget getting pushed into a mud puddle when South Carolina squeaked past them in the game back in 1994. Those fans were really pissed off. Yes, I used to be a SC Gamecock, but that was husband #2....) So have a great Spring and Summer -- Football season is only 7 months away.
It really was a good game! And I am missing college football already! Not much of an NFL fan, just quit really watching it in the last 10 years or so. I have $20 in an NFL playoff pool, not doing so hot. I think that next year, we all play for money (wait, is that illegal?) and use the cash app or Venmo or something and play for low dollars each week, but have a nice pot for the Bowl Bonanza. What do you all think? Anyone feel like being a bookie?
I haven't watched the NFL since Kaepernick took that knee and they hired a bunch of women beating thugs, however, being a Kansas City boy originally their new QB (Mahomes) has got my attention. As far as next year, the only apps I have on my cell phone are Lyft & Uber but I will add one if you want to do this. I don't think I have the patience to be the bookie. I put $50 on a Super Bowl card and if the total score is 47, I win $2500. It's the 1st time I've ever done that.
