Akorn has lost some good people and is really falling apart! Matt is gone now and that's a big loss. Akorn needs to appreciate their employees rather than lay offs or forced out due to unreasonable expectations.

    What were Matt's responsibilities?

Skorn has a blatant and acrimonious dislike of sales representatives. They see very little value in their Acute care sales force and treat the reps as such. There are a lot of talented individuals in this organization that have been throttled by the lack of respect from the corporate office.

Oops. Akorn not Skorn but maybe that is a Freudian slip.

RB is pure evil. Not to be trusted on any level. Wonder if Raj knows they changed the commission structure and reps who were happy in the beginning of 2016 are now updating their resumes. No one wants to work under RB's delusional management style. JK: BIG MISTAKE putting RB in that role. BIG MISTAKE.

Yes indeed. The commision payouts are pathetic now. Agree again, RB's philosophies are unattainable.

really --- how could anyone put Ron Bruns in charge of anything? seriously has changed my opinion of Jon Kefar, who has put a non leader, non sales person and utterly uninspirational person in charge of the entire sales force and sale management. who changes the comp plan every quarter so that the top reps make nothing --- i mean $0? take note anyone looking to join Akorn, only 2 or 3 people make anything in commission -- no kidding. sad story and yes, the constant churning of the sales force continues . . . that's what happens when you don't value the people that are making the company big bucks, but get nothing in return.

congrats on the new gig. The executive leadership at this company is laughable. There are some really great reps that are not properly incentivized to go out and move the needle. This sales organization could be great but they have reined it in with unattainable quotas, moving targets, and paltry commissions. I'm sure there will be many people leaving.

Akorn leadership should hire a outside consultant to help them learn how to set proper quotas. The consultant could help them learn how to motivate sales rep with their bonus plan.

That will never happen as our new EVP Jon Kafer does not believe in sales people. We are not in his plan.

If executive leadership has their way, they would eliminate the entire sales force

Initial talks were to get down to 12 reps, zero inside sales and one regional director.
