Just ask anyone who is still there or anyone who has jumped ship recently.

Joining Sun now is simply a sign of despair.

    The industry knows ...

The management sells a great story. Many, many people were fooled.

with the recent resignations in the East, 12 month turnover rate has to be pushing more than 40% on tge Levulan team.

This is simply a sign of people recognizing the future of this company does not look good.

I believe 4 of the 6 COE winners have quit this year. Plus, rookies are dropping before their one year anniversary.

Be clear - these people are leaving on their own.

    Sun is in trouble.

Do not be fooled by management into coming here. Do not come here even if you know someone and they are telling you how great it is. It’s all a big ugly lie.

What do you mean? How were people fooled?

Many of us left in the East because of these reasons:
    1. No future at Sun
    2. Branca is a poor excuse for a human let alone leader
    3. Groff is no better and protects his possie
    4. Upper management has no vision
    5. No plan against Biofrontera
    6. No long term incentive to stay
    7. CEO hates women
    8. HR is clueless
    9. We wont off label sell
    10. We wont sell the spread
    11. Horrible benefits
    12. Sun is a laughing stock in industry

    How is that?

What about the other divisions? The ones selling Tildra and Absorica? Is it any better there?

No, it's not any better there.

It's a fundamental flaw in culture and strategy, regardless of division.

RG and SB shouldn't be the 'Fall guys' - it's bigger than that and above them.

    This company is a fraud.

The recruiter posting on LinkedIn has the audacity to post propaganda about innovative products from SUN while talking about career growth.

    WTF ?

Come on, just one person, name an innovative product from Sun ( they're commodity products with no clinical differentiation, tagged with high co-pays). Levulan is 10+ years old and Tildra is licensed from Merck. Topical steroids are complete commodities and we even compete directly against our own Gx from Taro.

Then, anyone, anyone talk about career growth here. It can't be done. Zero.

These are some of the reasons that so many people leave.

Now we're duping people into Tildra. Ugh.

Anyone who joins this company, well you have to question their basic ability to have any sense good judgement.

    The story just isn't there.

Absorica team has good management but drugs are a tough sell - essentially branded generics
Tildra team seems to have decent directors but the drug is 10th to market and Sun is woefully unprepared for its launch
    Levulan team is miserable
Ophthalmology team has been bleeding leadership since the summer, which is not a good sign

Ophthalmology team is like the C team of any big league Ophthalmic company. Yet with big egos! Go figure!

I'd generally agree except being on the acne side, I actually think the managers on the PDT side are stronger.
But you're right - it's a branded generic and a really tough sell.

Tildra: at this point, the two sales directors are in the game until launch. Resume-wise, it'd be tough to bail, plus for one, they might not get picked up if they go free agency.

As you say, late to market, and likely with no access and minimal marketing support. Almost 3 years in the making for this ... ???

Opth: like the derm team, it's been hemorrhaging.

Levulan - will have serious issues. From BFs J-code to off label selling, this is a ticking time bomb.

Well, the whole company is a time bomb.

Ignorance, not unemployment, is the only way that someone would come here now.

PDT managers strong? It is the tallest midget in the room. PDT managers are pushing off label marketing and selling the spread. If that is better I want to know better than what? Branca is a creepy little troll and they are all led by a self absorbed goof ball. Stay away!

The best managers are by far on the Absorica team they are the only reason that division has had so little turnover. Good leadership questionable marketing and managed care access team is a joke. Hopefully it gets better. The acne team even with Ximino is the only team to consider at sun for the long term.

I would agree but you must have not seen the goals they gave this team. They are sky high no one will make money and Ximino is laughable at best! This team was so much better off in the hands of inVentiv. Now that is sad!
