Zimmer/Biomet are giving the Kansas City reps a one off deal for a year with a new rep agreement and have been told not to tell anybody...wtf!! Nobody signed and they caved in just like in Wichita. This is total bull. Our whole group had to sign or we were out.

It's all very top secret and everyone has to sign secretive documents to keep each other from talking about their "deal".
Great leadership by lying and pitting reps against each other. Stop the madness

Can any Zimmer-Biomet reps say they actually see a bright future working there? Sure, the products are good, but the prices, comp plans, and QOL are crap compared to other opportunities in devices/pharma.

The whole process is just not above board and not to be trusted. Every area is getting an area specific deal and every rep in that area is getting an individual unique agreement. Management has caused all of this mistrust with making exceptions!

Our distributorship is passing a commission cut on to us without even a conversation. The lies are silly and getting old. Our area hasn't signed anything yet and it doesn't look good! Are there areas that have already signed and are happy?

Biomet is running the show. The Zimmer gal who ran our old office was offered a job to cover cases during the transition but with all of the reps signing agreements her days are numbered. Our new Biomet leader started a little slow but has really come on and has proven to be a winner. This is looking good and we are cleaning the old Zimmer culture out.

Stacy Lehman in KC is an awesome guy. Good demeanor and skill set for the position. Just what was needed there.

St. Louis Biomet leaders taking over Kansas City and Kansas soon. They are expanding and doing great! Watch and see.

Good luck if that happens. They will run your good people off.

Not hardly....these guys have built a great business and will do nothing but improve things across the state.

I agree that they have done a tremendous job growing their business and have supported their reps exceptionally well. They would improve moral and bring on strong players to the team. Don't believe all of the chatter from the Zimmer side about these guys! Aggressive, strong and fair. You have to admit that the KC side of the state is a complete cluster and totally dysfunctional at this point with no signs of it improving anytime soon.

Right on the money. The only reps left over there had zero relationships with their surgeons and at the end of the day had no choice but to sign just to have a job! These new guys will bring on winners and deal with the whiners later. Reality will set in soon as corporate changes things again. Distributorship is their only chance to survive and make money!!

The St. Louis ZB leaders just got booted out of the Barnes Jewish system. A 10-12 million dollar hit for that side of the state. You don't want them to poison things in KC! ZB would be smart to replace them now.

You ever heard about bidding and a single/dual vendor policy based only on price....not the product advantages or rep relationships. Its an unfortunate fact of life in today's orthopedic business.

It amazes me that ZB, Dave and Dave have been removed with the surgeon support that they have. That's a big hit in the St. Louis market to overcome. They may push harder for the KC piece now! They are a tough group and won't lay down and go away without a fight.

Those guys have a loyal following and aren't just going to walk away quietly. BJC will lose surgeons in St. Louis and Columbia.
