With the appointment of Mr. Hanson we are now headed for an acquisition by Covidian or Medtronic. Give him some time to get things in order so the transition will be seamless. Both of these companies want in the Orthopedic market. Both are big enough to afford us and Covidian will be best suited because they do not have a spine unit. Fasten your seat belts.

Medtronic purchased Covidian in 2015 but you are probably correct

You're a moron. Medtronic bought Covidien. They are one and the same.

strong chance that these two get together since Medtronic is already attempting to enter the market with a rep less model

MDT already has a spinal products portfolio and I think Z-B may be too big of a pill for them to swallow after they swallowed COV. Anything is possible however - Maybe MDT will spin off/see their spinal products portfolio (e.g. Danek) or if they do acquire Z-B they'll strip the good meat off the bones and sell off the rest.
Look at what happened when they bought COV, some assets/products got sold off to Cardinal. So either way something "is def. in the cards" here for 2018. Time shall tell.

Highly doubtful FTC will ever allow even if it was actually being considered, which I find highly unlikely.

Hey Boston ^^^^^^. You said it yourself that Zimmer spine was garbage. And now Zimmer spine has started doing major downsizing since Hanson took over. Hanson knows what to do, and Medtronic coming for the joint line, not spine.... Medtronic will clean spine up after the merger.

Major downsizing? Is that why they set up new Spine HQ with 104,000 sq ft in Colorado? Stop with the BS.
I believe this is a good 20,000 more said ft than previous HQ.

Btw Amedica has finished its audit of 3 years of its financials. They've spent a hefty sum on this audit...I wonder why? Lol

Amedica? What does that micro shit hole of a company have to do with anything? Even if they get bought nobody cares. You dont have a fucking clue whats going on here with the new buildings you google search warrior. Is this Sonny Bal trying to not look like a dumbass as usual? Stick to the shitty knees you put in and stay the fuck off the witness stand you tool bag.

After todays events at Amedica it looks like this one is the winner on this thread. Zimmer wants nothing to do with Amedica or Sonny Bal.

Not sure but looks like Bal failed again over there and needs more cash to keep the doors open. That Zimmer buyout is a dream.

They only worked with him for, what was it, 13 years? But no hes not going to be the president of spine. I believe they promoted someone from within.

Zimmer and Bal went seperate ways for reasons that left Bal angry. Thats why bal went after them jan 2017 as an expert knee witness while being CEO for amedica. Bal has been angry at zimmer for awhile and it continued into 2017. They are not in love with each other as someone posting makes it seem.

OMG this is so dumb. Its always better to have a friendly witness for the defendant testifying for the plaintiff. This does not indicate the relationship ever went sour, again 13 years. Not to mention Bal & Dvorak joined OREF board of trustees May 2016. None of this suggest anything close to the story you are trying to tell. If anything he's close with Zimmer Brass.

What about the shit talk between the two. That just for show also? You probably don't know anyone at Zimmer or Amedica. Dvorak is gone (forced out) and all his brass (thats not gone) soon to hit the highway also. Who still works at Amedica? Zimmer/Spine rejects? Sonny Bal is the running joke of the spine industry. A total joint surgeon that thinks he knows better then all the spine surgeons out there about SPINE. Drag a hundred dollar bill down a hallway and you see SB running after it. Guy wants all the money he can get but all he got was a big head and a bad ego.
