Why would a dr write zohydro when norco is only $10? I'm interviewing with this company and I'm wondering if it's a good move for me. Thanks.

Lol!! The question you should really be asking is, "why would a doctor write Silenor 6mg instead of Generic 10mg Doxepin?" Good luck!

If you don't know the answer to this question already then save yourself some time and don't interview. You obviously have no clue.

For the same reason a doc would transition a patient from immediate release Roxicodone or Percocet to extended-release OxyContin. Convenience, better control, lower pill burden.

But docs ain't the problem. Getting payers to support Zohydro is. That's were the problem is.

If you have choices, don't sell this product. It's a tough market. If you need a job, give it a whirl, but realize you need to work really, really hard.

THANK YOU so much for your honesty!! I really appreciate you helping me. I don't know anything about this market and I can't afford to make a bad move to another company.

Ive been contacted about a job selling zohydro. How are the goals? obviously it must be a difficult sell because of all the generics on the market. How is it perceived by docs? do they see value in it? Any info on the subject would be appreciated.

    see June 19th post.

Tough market. No abuse deterrence in label. Other brands have better label or coming to market with better label. Won't be easy.
