Seems like we've hit a NERVOUS NERVE on this one! sanofi pays zs almost 30 million dollars a year - what areas of senior leadership use them the most? they are literally everywhere in nj home office - even heard that they've been able to reduce # of offices they have because sanofi lets them use home office resources & space for free. are we considering the significant impact this has on culture? wonder if HR even takes this into account. I used to pride myself on the strong relationships I'd built at the home office because it helped us execute our strategy in the field - where it matters! now - every point of contact I have at corporate defers questions, or gets the answer from zs - a privately held company that could easily give kickbacks - seems like there might be some weight to this.

Yes, ZS is currently sharpening their knives to gut this pig. ZS is going to change your pin on the wall from green to red and they're going to do it with their dirty little feet on the desks at the home office!

It's going to be bad for Diabetes for sure. If you work in Diabetes don't listen to your manager or those stupid monthy update calls from Diabetes leadership. They will be gone also. Sanofi is cutting the cord . Take it to the bank

To say ZS is doing a bad job is a lie. We are following Sanofi Management plan to “displace” and relocate many of you to territories that encourage you to leave on your own. We are very effective in this self attrition strategy. Again, we are following a corporate strategy and it is working.

We could put a room full of chimps with red and green pins with a map of the USA and they would do a better than ZS Assoc. Love how you line up zipcodes and make somebody drive 3 hours to their territory while 5 min from where they live another rep drives 2 hours to the office down the street from where you live. Your company sucks and haven't heard one positive thing on ZS ever. You Blow !

Isn't ZS a management consulting firm? Therefore, wouldn't it be YOUR plan that includes this "self attrition" strategy? The fact that you put a troll on this website to point the finger at "Sanofi Management" just shows what a sketchy, directionless group of knuckleheads you are. 75% of your workforce are men, but maybe you should hire some women to teach you how to GROW A PAIR!

You really do not understand how consulting firms work. First we offer solutions to the objectives of management. In this case, ZS pitched inline with managements goal a strategy that fit their needs. So yes, we sold our strategy to fit the goals of attrition. Please enroll in a business course and forget your sexist, dull statement.

You and your company ZS are an embarrassment. So corporate numbnut is upset his company is getting exposed for incompetent layoff strategy. After being through a bunch of these rodeos your sheer stupidly in alignments is beyond comprehension . Yes you have a real pidgeon in Sanofi as they give you millions for strategy that a group of high school students in a business class could solve. ZS stay off the board. Your company is hated and respected like the devil.

We seemed to be doing just fine streamlining the entire industry. Specialty products and rare diseases is where the future is. It’s not our fault you are not part of the future.

ZS Associates has been peddling their expertise at designing territories long before mapping apps were readily available, and they do a decent job at what they do, subject to the requirements of the client and the articulated strategy. However, if the strategy stinks like three-day old fish then don't be surprised if the territory assignments are crazy. Ultimately, it is never the consultant's fault since they only recommend alternative courses of action; management calls the shots.

Sounds like ZS will eventually optimize themselves out of a job too. No big sales forces, no big projects, no big consulting fees.

Actually after they've widdled every sales force down to the bare bones then they'll just sell the fact that pharma companies need to "optimize" again by scaling UP and they'll hire a bunch of newbies again and then the cycle begins all over. LOL The C-suite decision makers buy what ZS sells them hook line & sinker every time. SMH...

I know for a fact, I’m worked for ZS, we provided kickback funds to different people at Sanofi.
We did consulting for almost every major pharma company over the years, without a doubt, Sanofi is the slimiest of big pharma— at least on a executive level.

Why are all the home office jobs being done by ZS asshats? We're out here trying to sell and every initiative gets screwed up because these incompetent 20 year olds have their hands in everything. Are the kickbacks they're paying senior management that good? Seriously! None of them have ever sold a drug, most can barely speak English and there are 2 of them for every home office worker in incentive comp, sampling, analytics, operations and veeva! Now they're getting all cocky on this thread thinking that they're a real consulting firm - why can't we use a reputable REAL consulting firm that doesn't employ 20 year old zit faced kids exclusively! Which senior leaders are getting paid by ZS to run our company INTO THE GROUND?!!
