The Surgical Sales Assistant position is a wonderful opportunity to learn the product line and sales process from seasoned sales professionals in the field. You will support the local Surgical Rep by covering procedures in the OR and gathering information to help convert business from competitive products to this product line. Your training will include the ability to answer the surgeons questions and help him/her utilize the device correctly.
This job is with the #1 worldwide company in it's specialty surgical field, and the territory is mostly Anchorage based. There could be minimal travel to area hospitals within the territory once you are completely trained and up to speed.

This position is being created in anticipation of an upcoming Anchorage territory expansion. After completing your term as a surgical sales assistant, you will be promoted to surgical sales representative with your own territory in Anchorage. Sales reps with this company are extremely well-paid, and turnover is almost nonexistant.
First year compensation is expected to be $60,000, but could be more depending upon new business development.
Successful applicants will have previous experience as a surgical tech or surgical assistant, preferably in the orthopedics area. An outgoing personality and self-confident nature is required. A BS/BA is a plus, but not necessary. If you have some sales background that, too, is a plus.
