This sounds to me like an insurance issue. Provenge is the provider, you have to go to the payor (insurance company) for restitution. Who told you to get the port and do the other testing. They should be responsible, not Provenge. I am not here to defend ...

That is a frustrating report. My husband did not qualify for Provenge, so can't really speak directly to your experience; but it is hard enough to be battling the disease and than to have to battle insurance, billing, and the pharmacy industry is way too ...

Not only is it frustrating but to realize that Dendreon is making a fortune off Provenge and it has no real effects but somehow they think it helps future treatments extend overall survival time. Maybe ... with Zytiga. I have made a few telephone inquiries today and believe me, I am not finished with my complaints. Partially because the Dendreon nurse was thrilled that my husband had the port but yet they won't assist patients with covering the cost ...

i am so sorry for your rough time. I agree with Passages - appeal. If I hit such a wall, I would. We do know that our insurance covers Provenge but right now my husband does not qualify because he has symptoms (pain). Best wishes to you and your husband. ...
