FDA panel to discuss how patients can improve medical device review

FDA's Patient Engagement Advisory Committee (PEAC) will meet Nov. 15 to discuss how the agency can incorporate patient-generated data from online and mobile platforms such as social media, digital health technology and patient registries into its review of medical devices.
