Trump Doesn't Know Who 'Middlemen' Are, But PBMs Okay With His Drug Price Agenda

Though President Donald Trump vowed to eliminate the middlemen, pharmacy benefit managers seemed to see the White House’s drug pricing proposals as an endorsement of at least some of the private sector policy agenda.

“We're very much eliminating the middlemen,” Trump said of his administration’s proposed “American Patients First” blueprint to lower prices. “The middlemen became very, very rich.  Right?"
