Evan seems like a nice guy. How in the hell did he get the job of running a sales force? Can you say underqualified? His conference calls have been a disaster to say the least. His feelings got hurt on one a couple weeks ago when a rep brought up some valid points that made a lot of sense and we all know what he and Aerie decided to do with that rep. Evan thanked him on the call but was really upset. He couldn't answer basic questions on the call earlier about the direction over the coming weeks. We need decisive leadership not a fcking pussy like Evan. Grow a pair and be a leader. Stop getting your feelings hurt so easy and man up Evan. Stop calling us and kissing ass. He was on an ass kissing tour at NSM and it has not stopped. We can't tell you the truth because you can't take it. Evan is in way over his head. I can say though that our marketing materials have improved since he left his leadership position there
which is one positive to come out of his promotion.

Answer to the question. A LOUD NO. Pretty obvious a different decision should have been made but I'm going to just keep smiling and pretending like he is amazing like everyone else is doing

Aerie is not going to pay big $$$ to some executive search firm to get a new VP of Sales. Evan is a great guy in his area of expertise (marketing). This company is moving people around who are already here

What are you talking about? Would not have taken big money. Put the names of District Managers in a hat and choose one. 90% chance that individual would do a better job than Evan. 100% chance that individual would be more qualified than Evan.

Are you serious! 50% of the DM’s are incompetent! Look at the last few they’ve put in positions—-not qualified at all. Evan is fine and the right person. He’s not responsible for any of the nonsense that’s gone on from the get go. They need to look for the RIGHT candidate for all roles.

This company has been screwed up since the 1st Rhopressa trial failed to meet its endpoint and had to be redone. Some good people who would have been great leaders left and no talented execs wanted to come here. It's been a B Team the whole time. In some cases,
B Team is too much of a stretch (the commercial ops lead and the former VP of sales were not qualified to sweep floors in a taco bell) The way the 1st product was "placed" as an adjunct in lieu of an $8 beta blocker when it didn't have insurance coverage doomed everything. That's why the stock is at $13 and was trending that way before the virus hit. Evan is not the problem but he is in a role that can't really evolve and improve anything since the incentive comp was bungled from the start and turnover has been terrible.

Absolutely agree with you that 50% of the DM'S are incompetent... Also agree with the post that 90% of them would do better than Evan... He is unqualified and incompetent... Evan couldn't even handle a rep disagreeing with him and was a disaster on his latest call... He kisses great ass though...

The truth is not negative. the truth is the truth. Evan is not good at his job and experience isn't gonna help him. He doesn't have "it"

Why does the company keep making mistakes putting people at the top that have no business being there?

No Evan we are still here and now know better than to share a comment and ask a question on one of your awful conference calls. And no we are not getting up early and dressing up for work everyday. What a bunch of dumbasses

Give the guy a break! He was left with all of GM's mess and is still cleaning it up. GM did not communicate effectively with us and it was on his clock that the IC fiasco happened. GM also made no effort to meet most of the sales force. What short term memories you all have!

    GM wasn’t an ass kisser.

Exactly... Don't bring Gary into this... Gary never allowed his feelings to get hurt and was a straight shooter... Evan has no experience and it shows so bright

GM may not have been an ass kisser but he was pretty much MIA.
