I am married and have been married for 27 years. My spouse has the government pension..... that makes it half mine ( I have 100% survivor bennies). Spouse is already retired. I just stick around to stack more cash.

Looks like someone is in deep debt with barely any savings. Envy and jealousy aren't becoming traits. Stop bashing and start listening. You might learn something.

Just doing enough to keep this job going this year. Maybe working 2 days or well, 2 half days a week. I am ready to lose this job, but will coast as far as possible gathering checks. May stick around until they fire me. I wouldn't care since I won't need them for a reference because I will be done with all work.

My wife is a lawyer. With my salary and aggressive investments early, we are set. All the money were making now is just a cherry on top. Best, part is we are in our late 40s. Can retire today

I worked for Novartis for 16 years . Presidents club multiple times and achieved cornerstone award before I hated my life there . It was pure evil .

your health, inner and outer is really all that matters.
congrats on your financial success, but you are missing the point.
just consider all the money our government prints as well, so you should invest wisely. I would highly recommend property to rent out in good areas. get a management team to hire, so you don't have headaches. the stock market is BS for the most part, a gambling casino. so, be very smart with these investments. they can wipe you out. real estate is essential in life, shelter is needed. best to you, and stay healthy with raw foods (raw fish, rare meats, raw eggs, unpasteurized milks, no sugar, no salt, no carbs), so you can enjoy your retirement as well.

also, don't over exert yourself with strenuous exercise. its is counter productive. most people have health problems due to inflammation. and it is not normal to have a super high heart rate (exercise induces this) or lifting heavy weights. learn to take it easy. also, stay away from all toxic crap like alcohol and drugs (legal and illegal) the best you can. I hope you live a long life. low stress is the key at the end of the day and is most likely with less inflammation and surrounding yourself/listening to smart people like me :))).

It’s not about money. It’s about being able to retire and live with dignity. Affording good health care, taking a few more vacations, being able to spend time with grandchildren and paying for the trip to Disney, being generous with charities....all those things.

By the time I’m 62 I hope to have 4.5 million. I’ve been a good saver and started early. To an above poster who talked about good health....you can have that nice big nest egg but if you aren’t healthy then you can’t enjoy it. Routine cardio, eat right, avoid excessive drinking, use a sauna (helps remove toxins and decreases inflammation), keep stress to a minimum. Do those things plus save 15% or more and you will learn why they are called the Golden years instead of the Bronze years. Unless you die in a plane crash.

Disney will never see a dime of my money. Far left, radical, cancel culture company.
