    Hello everyone,

I have been approached about a position at Mindray Medical, previously Datascope's Patient Monitoring division. I would appreciate any information you can give me on working for these companies as well as your experiences. I was told the base is $60K, bonus $120, company car, good health benefits, etc.

    Thank you!

The base is accurate, the car is accurate, and the benefits are good not great. Total comp is way blown out, and most of the sales reps didn't make over 120k total comp. Territories are changing and comp plan for 2010 has not been announced.

Good Company, but income is lacking.....

Thank you so much for your input. It looks like you took the job.

I had my interview with them; they seem down-to-earth about all the new changes going on with Mindray.

I forgot to mention the position I interviewed was for a Clinical Specialist position...would you happend to know the going rate for that?

I have been approached about Mindray as well. What is a realisitic 1st year total comp? I was told base $60k plus a 1800 draw per month starting out. How is the company culture? How does Mindray's devices stack up against competitors? Do they have a strong brand awareness? Any info would help. Thanks

I used to work for Datascope before they were purchased by Mindray; spent 5 yrs. selling their monitors. Great co. at the time, but technology was always lacking. They are, and likely will continue to be, a niche player in their field. All large hospitals and hospital groups (read: the big deals) go with co.'s like Spacelabs, GE, Siemens for their standardization. Datascope used to do well in small, rural hospitals and surgery centers.

Noticing a significant variance in salary and total comp quotes for this company online. Can anyone express true values for the sales roles at Mindray?

    Thank you

Yes it seems to vary, was approached, but can't seem to get an general answer on the brand. Better or worse since they were bought out and will they buy GE?

Any thoughts on the radiology ultrasound sales opportunity? Company vehicle or allowance? Culture? Quota attainable? Sales strategy for success?
