I'm curious what NeoTract/UroLift is like now, with TeleFlex having purchased it and been running it now for awhile? I know a few reps there, and most have stayed. Are they still paying the way they were before TeleFlex? Has much changed culture wise. Considering an opportunity and appreciate your feedback.

TeleFlex, yuck! UroLift will never be what it was. When these bigger companies buy the start ups it looks good for a year or two then things change and go back to the normal old company.

Teleflex has been really great. They have essentially left the business on auto-pilot, with the same leaders, comp plan, and they actually increased resources. They know a good thing when they see it and share the vision and culture that is Neotract.

So what's the scoop here now? It appears that there has been a fair amount of turnover in the last 6 months or so. Have things changed? Higher quotas? Less comp?

There is an expansion territory open in my area. Thoughts on moving/applying?

Looking at a potential opportunity. Any feedback would be appreciated. Recruiter was throwing out some pretty large comp numbers. Can anyone speak to this and or the culture, how the product is perceived by physicians, and any other useful info?

When TB left the company seemed to nose dive. New leadership appears to misaligned with sales. Pretty sad to see so many great sales professionals leaving. My advice would be really look at your territory opportunity and do your research. The truth is most docs have seen or heard of the technology and opt out of adopting the steps required in training pathway. That may put you behind the 8 ball with new leadership demanding start-up like growth. The open positions seem to get backfilled pretty quick though. Hope it helps!

Legacy reps were growing their territory's and hitting their numbers as always and management pivoted to a new metric of new doctors and started applying pressure where it wasn't needed. So much meat was still on the bone with existing accounts. At least 50% turnover of the best talent and management was micromanaging for the most part. Some really bad management in the Pacific North West and NorCal. So bad they doubled down and promoted both.

    Hello,
Came across this thread while researching an opportunity with Teleflex - Urology Consultant.

I’ve been in minimally invasive device sales for some time now and wanting some change. Any recent feedback or company perspective would be greatly appreciated.

Is the rumor true around BM and CB running off to TX together?
