I drive a X40 Volvo. Comfortable, but now that we've picked up all the Otezla materials and samples it's just too small. In fact, it's too small to begin with. The fact is, Amgen is biased against big boned brotha's from the South. We can barely fit in the cars to begin with if you are over 6'3" and with all the new things to haul around, it's cramped. Also, our options seem to be designed for European beta males (Volvos and Subarus). When I drive this back to the hood, I just about have to fight my way in and out. Can we get a Chevy or a Ford for a grown ass man? Amgen's micro-aggressions against large, diverse men is par for the course.
Definitely need bigger cars now that we've picked up all the Otezla BS. It appears you have to make multiple calls all day long, every day and sample their docs. No longer good enough to just do a lunch and enter 25 calls like Stephanie taught me. If I am actually going to have to go out and make this many call and deliver materials and samples, I need a larger car.
I heard that they will be reallocating company cars around after the layoffs. Look on the bright side; its a company car.
Should have been a Director, ,mine drives the Volvo S90. I think it's literally 2-3 feet longer than that excuse of an SUV, the XC 40. Call fleet and see if there are any s90's circulating after the recent layoff, there most be a few. You can fit an entire NBA team in that ride.
