Good choice. Who do you recommend in NJ?

What’s your thought on managment at Clarity Labs?

I don't think anyone who knows this industry would want to work with this lab. It would only be a matter of time before you were dragged into a big problem.

Smart owner, stellar sales leader, but it's a small lab in NJ. They lack everything else.

They do have a good reputation in NJ but Medicaid Tox cuts will make there growth slow down to a halt.

Looks like they're losing their account managers. Anyone know what's going on there?

NJ Medicaid cuts are hurting everyone but Medsceen labs. Medscreen is paying off clients to get work and Clarity won't do that. Medscreen will be in big trouble after NJ Comptroller audits them. The owner is a fool that is giving away services for free, payed off a North Jersey politician to get him work, is getting clinics to order up to 10 drug screens a month and is stealing from the system. Medscreen is the new Ammon!

Clarity can't compete and will be out of business soon!

They seem to be a more honest lab than that of Ammon, bio diagnostic, and TrueTox, but only time will tell where they go. Hopefully they stay away from that scamming stuff and work honestly but it leaves the question how many labs are getting by nowadays with honesty and good ethics.

Due to the major issues with Ammon’s ongoing FBI investigation/foundation bribery, truetox’s not so far off scenario, and bio diagnostic’s shut down from similar illegal things it surely will make things harder. Fingers crossed for the best though. Hopefully not all labs are bad or just scamming.

Though what the other commenters are saying seems to have merit.

Clarity is a good lab. Just don't have a lot of insurance contracts. May be selling though.

That’s a tragedy if they sell. Labs like Ammon and TrueTox have just made it rougher for new labs, the tox business is a dying thing as of now in NJ.

Yes those labs have made it harder. Don't forget about SDX/Mako & RDX/Xeron. Those two labs may have new owners, but they were doing some shady things as well. Mako is continuing along the same lines as SDX. RDX is under investigation for AKS violations with a former client cooperating. Maybe Xeron will clean things up, but I heard they purchased RDX because they were in jeopardy of having their NY lab closed by DOH and needed a cheap NJ lab to move into. Rumors are flying about every lab doing business in NJ: ADL, Ammon, Clarity, Medscreen, Mako, Xeron, Bioreference, TrueTox. What a crazy/slimy industry we are involved with!

Will Clarity survive? As stated above, these slimy labs have made it extremely harder for new labs to survive and grow. Everyone has been staying that toxicology is done, only big labs are going to survive.

All the labs mentioned here are shady and have broken the standards of the lab industry well before COVID.
