Can we please not spend the Q&A session of important calls such as these to ask about initiatives that have already been covered, ad nauseam, in company memorandums?

Customer 360, DI&B, Vaccination recommendations, etc. all of these topics are covered ENDLESSLY via emails and do not need more lip service. It would have been SO nice to have Q&A session that covered strategic direction of the company in regards to disease areas of focus and ongoing clinical trials/product candidates, pending launches and potential movements within the organization, future aspirations in regards to expansions and new roles that would provide opportunities for upward movement, etc. But no, everyone asks the same waste of time questions that we have all heard before. All BS, make people feel good, word salad with no actual substance on how this company is going to be successful moving forward.

Reminder: Success is not measured by the number of virtual engagements we do, the level of inclusivity metrics that we strive to achieve, or our company wide thoughts on vaccination and our role in the COVID-19 pandemic... It’s about getting more patients on novel Amgen therapies that help lower the burden of disease for the healthcare system and grow value for patients, shareholders and employees within the organization. Can we please get back to being a mission-focused company?

Good luck Don Quixote. We are all about image. Our regional regularly abuses people saying they don't really have great relationships unless they can leverage them to get more Veeva Engages. I am not kidding.

Inverse relationship between territories with high Veeva Engage use and performance.

Agree with the first post... People were absolutely mortified to have the head of regulatory push a vaccine message down our throat in an all staff. Last I checked, the head of regulatory isn't someone I'm going to trust to take an experimental vaccine for a virus that has a 99% cure rate with alternatives. This is a virus last I checked not a disease.
The speech was as bad as trying to tell us what political party we should vote for, or what religion I should be a part of. Please focus on our mission to serve patients, and stay clear of strong arming people to get a vaccine. There's something called "freedom" of choice, or at least I thought that's what America was about.

Thank god for Murdo who seems to focus more on how we will continue to grow as a company and understands face to face customer engagements are the most impactful, but when we can't or doors are closed to industry, Amgen will continue to work on how we can find ways to interact and connect virtually.

Take a moment to understand the qualifications of Dr Steven Galson. He is currently head of regulatory but has previously held a variety of very senior positions in public health including surgeon general. His perspective and advice are grounded in rich experience. Amgen is lucky to have him helping to advise.

They want us taking this vaccine that can kill people so we can get into offices and sell for them. I will never take this experimental hogwash that has been led to showing many problems. no way

Missed this call, anything said about NUBU? Anything said about ongoing discrimination against males in this BU?

It's nice to know Amgen employs future racist mass shooters.

Tell me you don’t understand science without telling me you don’t understand science!

Rich experience? Then he shouldn't be recommending something that hasn't gone through clinical trials for a disease that actually has options for treatment outside of another flu vaccine. It's a virus not a disease. I agree, you won't be brainwashing me to take the vaccine. I don't remember someone giving such strong advice and wonder how that would come across if it was for one of our own medicines. Again, please keep your opinions on vaccines to yourself. I can do my own research, and won't be strong armed on what I believe is a "personal" decision. Not Steve will be making for us.

blah, blah, blah, about the vaccine, I have an evil leader pushing down videos and call metrics to self promote the region and her agenda...... give me the vaccine and put me out of my misery.......
