Anyone ever heard of Inogen? Do they have a good product and reputation in the resp marketplace? Thanks!

Does anyone know roughly the annual revenue and number of employees at Inogen. It is unclear whether it is a growing company with a successful product since beginning in 2007 or a good marketing group selling a mediocre product. Are they growing or shrinking?

They are shrinking. Lots of POC's in the market now. Inogen needs to come out with a ne POC, bu I am sure they will.

Ingoen is trying to grow...no one was interested in their POC. So they decided to market their own and take patients. They do not have centers...but a single sales person doing all the work and then drop shipping their POC to the patient. Not a very solid company.

Garbage company - when everyone in DME world realized the product was overpriced and sub-par they went direct to pt, winning bids in several CBA's - bankruptcy can't be far off for this abysmal business...sad, they had first mover advantage and were very innovative - went stale and couldn't adapt with a lower price point model

Waaaahhhhhh. What will you say when Inogen is the last DME standing? Probably that you should have adopted their product when you had the chance. Enjoy working at WalMart.

    IPO'ing?

Theyre gonna need investors money for sure.

With competitive bidding and pissing off all of the major O2 companies. In addition to having a ton more competition in the POC market.

    Days are numbered.

Doing my Due Diligence for IPO: anyone else want to chime in on what they think of this company and its share in the market? Any comparisons to its competitors? Amy reason they're superior or inferior to its competitors?

    Thanks

How is Inogen pissing off all the major O2 companies?

Simple, the ads mislead patients into thinking they qualify for an Inogen just by qualifying for O2. Forget the fact that the cost makes it not a viable option for providers. The weigh is triple that of a M-6. You can't use during sleep. Short battery life (charge and duribility). Unit will not last the 5 years required for replacement.

Average senior doesn't give a crap about any of this. They want what they want and by God they've earned it! Regardless of who actually ends up having to pay!
