But seriously, would they send out the organizational health survey in the midst of layoffs?

Dumb statement go back to drinking your blue Kool-Aid. Stim/Pain Division with Managers RIF'ed: Louisville, Kansas City, Springfield, Arizona, and New Orleans. Spin it how you want but this happened on Monday of this week. Sales commission cuts are next.

Do you think they review the survey results or care about them or report them accurately? Cute

Territory Managers and clinical reps were let go where business no longer supported the overhead. Medtronic inept management and strategy continue to weigh down a once mighty division. Would not be surprised if more cuts don’t come soon. We’ve lost some of the best talent already. Business is not going to come back by thinning out the ranks even more. The blind continue to lead the blind. #nobodywantsourproductsanymore

Medtronic leadership so clueless they can’t even copy competitors product offerings that have taken market share from us for years now. Get a clue. Whatever leadership is thinking they should do the opposite and maybe they’ll finally make the right call. Embarrassed and ashamed to be a part of this mess.

Where do all the #MDTProud posts on LinkedIn come from? Survivor guilt?

It is the expected ROI from the countless hours each day Geoff spends self-promoting on LinkedIn. The digital equivalent of staring in the mirror and shouting "who is the fairest of them all?"

Very true. He scans the platform to find rep level promotions and comments on them, perpetuating a self absorbed persona of a celebrity throwing crumbs to the peons. All this while we layoff thousands and lose share to competitors who actually are developing new tech.

Smoke and mirrors. Reputation and legacy business built years ago only gets you so far.

There’s more to Geoff than meets the eye. Don’t underestimate him - he’s actually very empathetic, smart and capable. Smoke and mirrors doesn’t get you a CEO of the year award less than a year into the job.

Smoke and mirrors isn’t about a person it’s about the whole company and its bad strategy. Getting smoked by competitors is what we do nowadays. Thanks you management.

Um, no not really. Geoff himself said it best during the earnings call - employee surveys show morale at an all time high, there is a new energy in the air, product launches are hitting on all cylinders, we are reclaiming market share across the board, the stock is at an all time high, we've got loads of cash to do M&A, and our competition is running scared. #CEOoftheYear2022

Long tenured top reps leaving. That’s not a good sign. Pay is better elsewhere. Reps drive the business.

Yes. Lots of people leaving, not just reps.
