Is it true that many reps are jumping ship from the Xospata field force? If so, why is it happening?

Yes it is true and most are either leaving the company or moving to the Padcev team. The team lacks a good leader with an understanding of the market and ability to communicate.

Agreed. Her early and ongoing leadership hires doomed her. When you are unqualified and hire others who are unqualified, it's a case study in failure of leadership.

Not the best leader. Good at a few things worse at more. Lazy describes her best.

Unfortunately her job is harder when she has a subordinate working behind the scenes to replace her. She will never see it coming.

Doesn't help that Astellas doesn't pay well. Perfect example is having specialty reps sell Oncology and not get a raise and make significantly less than the ONC reps selling the same product! Good job astellas giving people oncology experience giving them the opportunity to jump ship for 60-80K. Not a smart move for them

Unfortunately even the oncology divisions at astellas are grossly underpaid according to industry standard. SeaGen reps make significantly more than the Astellas team selling the same products and if theory holds true they are paying this team the same making other Hem Onc jobs with Oncology companies snatch them up with high paying salaries and bonus.

How much do xtandi reps make at astellas?

I cannot speak for the Oncology team bc I am not there but I can speak for the specialty sales force that also sells Xtandi. I was promoted from PCP and given a larger base but when they added Xtandi to our team NO ONE got an increase in salary so therefore we were make below 100K selling Xtandi for them meanwhile the ONC team was definitely making more. As for bonus Astellas doesn't even measure those teams the same as well and the ONC team gets credit for Med ONC and VA scripts while our team only gets URO scripts even though we are both trained on the same product.

Both trained on the same product. Both called on UROS.

Yet Spec rep's do not call on MED ONCS. So why should you get the credit and bonus for ONC scripts? That would just be dumb.

I think the Oklahoma City vacancy is the 4th time it's been posted in 3 years. Anyone else see a pattern?
