Press fit knee

Keep being told we would have a new press fit knee system in our bag this year but still nothing. I know some have seen the prototype but I’m still waiting to get my hands on it. Need it now.

 

Covid-19 just killed the pressfit knee.

 

We already have the design completed. Was set for launching with test sites getting in Q4. How did covid kill it??

 

I hate to tell you, but if the design was just finalized and it hasn’t been passed down to our ‘senior surgeon consultants’ yet then it’ll be two years before we see anything.

Disagree. Also Covid hasn’t slowed the launch of the press fit knee. Early feedback is design surgeons are thrilled with prototype.

 

Have never launched a product on time! Porous will be great but need a shoulder in a bad way.

 

When we buy Exactech we’ll have both a porous knee and a shoulder. It’ll happen soon.

 

The lack of both a porous knee and shoulder is starting to hurt.

 

Was just told new 3D printed tibia will be launched in Q1 2021.

 

Was told the porous tibia will follow the journey 2 design of being anatomic. Will be 3D printed and coming very soon. Going after current SYK users. Can’t wait

Hey rookie haven’t you learned there are many internal and external factors that impact launch dates? New reps always ask when is something coming out as they aren’t patient and need to know. Sell what’s in your bag.

Heard rumor that only part of the tibia is printed with most of the tibia being machined from plate stock. Please tell me this is not true.

The whole tibia is printed. Launching in September.
