You all know this is one former rep at Merck writing this stuff. Pretty pathetic. If they worked at their job like they hang on to this BS, they would probably still be working. You are the loser here, and it’s obvious for all to read.

 

You are 100% correct. I was recently in wine country and ran into a former MRK rep. He berated LL and openly told me he had been posting for years. According to him, he posted about 75% of the posts and others joined in. I don't feel right naming names but former MRK reps will figure it out. Details-

I actually asked why he posted so much and he kept saying he wanted to retire happy on his terms. He said he couldn't work for LL and felt forced to quit, essentially retiring earlier than planned.

This is 100% legit and I told the poster to settle down. Don't bait this guy, he's angry, lonely, and outright deranged.

 

Lance is an ass. I left Lilly because of him and others are on their way out as well. Everything written about him here is true.

 

What a great thread. It’s like a Netflix series. Season 10 episode 5. It keeps on going with no end in sight. There are fewer and fewer posts but ultimately it will die off as most series do. It’s been a good ride however. I will never forget when the regional manager asked Mr. Lopes to leave the room so we could share our darkest secrets. Thank God for downsizing and realignment otherwise he’d still be tormenting the last of us. I hope to hear from my long lost comrades and girlfriends over time and that you’re enjoying your lives and new jobs. It’s was a legendary ride and one we won’t forget. I’ll still be checking in periodically as this has been great therapy. Maybe the Lily gang will step up and share their stories. To my retired friends be well and I’ll be joining you soon. I worked as a Lilly rep for Lance for a year. I didn't believe all the posts about him, he treated me nice and was hands off. I had no issues with him, until whammo, month 10. It's like a light switch turned on. He began to nit pick everything I did, I could do no right. After a horrible morning seeing customers, we went to lunch. He was pulling out reports left and right, and having me teach back how to use our crm messages. I had enough, quit on the spot, leaving him in the Panera Bread parking lot. To add insult to injury, the sob rejected my final expense report and I was on the hook for 350 bucks. Whoever hired him, I'd like to meet you in a dark alley one night.

 

This sounds like a typical Lilly manager. Makes me wonder what kind of training they go through in Indy.

 

Sad but true.

 

Leave this guy alone already. We get it, he sucks. So do most of our managers and sr leaders. That’s why he is leading people. We get paid a fraction of what others do on our industry. It’s more of a Lilly issue than a Lance issue.

I am so sick of seeing this thread. I'd be willing to bet every dollar I have that it's the same dude posting over and over again (how many years is this now?). Clearly Lance isn't as bad as you thought he was. You are literally obsessing over him. At this point it's just pathetic. I get it, he was a bad manger (to you). We've ALL had bad managers at one point in our careers. But to sit on Lilly's Cafepharma (a company you don't even work for) and bash on a manager (that you don't even work anymore) is just sad. Please, just get over him. Seek therapy, go for a hike, pick up a new hobby, just anything at this point to get you from posting about Lance on this site. I'm willing to bet you are a little bit older, single, and have some mental problems. This is truly not normal behavior. I see why Lance fired you, or push you out. I would have done the same thing.

I too can agree that Lance is Bipolar. He’ll set you up to fail as quick as he can. If you don’t agree with his thought process than you’re the problem. He’s not allowed into offices for a reason. He’s used to having to sit out in the car while we do calls because no one wants to deal with his odd and out of sorts behavior. All the upper management know and have experienced this… they too talk just as much crap about this guy. Lol

This thread is so weirdly fascinating! You just have to read all of it! It has everything! There is an open HR case dating back two months. Someone in a clown mask took a dump on his front porch while flipping off his porch Ring camera. They said "FU Lance" on audio and I learned this from another manager.

While I applaud the poopie bandit, a family home should be off limits.

Also, the reason this post is so ooolala popular is because their is a Lance alumni chat group on the GroupMe app. There's almost 60 members, all ages, races, creeds, Lilly and Merck. This is a grassroots forum which resembles a support group. *The porch story is verified except the culprit was in a Santa costume. I'd pay anything to see the video feed.
