Don’t worry! You can just send virtual samples through Veeva. Never leave your house.

Amgen employee here. It’s actually going to be a few weeks before they start interviewing. Not sure why the delay but that’s the truth

Even if you get a job at Amgen you will be back looking in 12 to 15 months because it is horrible here. Keep the resume updated.

There are many many unhappy people here. Very metrics driven. Calls per day, emails per day, etc. Lots of trackers in my area. It sucks the life out of you & everyone is frustrated and always complaining. I dread picking up the phone when someone calls because I know they’ll wind up b!tching about something here.

Has the culture always been like this or made worse because of Covid shutdown? I know many companies have tuned up the metrics during Covid simply because they distrust the sales force. Most everyone I know across the pharmaceutical industry is fed up with the training, conference calls, email requirements and calls per day.

You can certainly add me to that list, very tired of the metric bullshit at my company. I think it’s industry wide for 90% of the reps I talk with regularly

Good for you! I still haven’t heard anything about the phone screen yet. But I was told it may be closer to June

Amgen changed way way before COVID. It was the best place to work & now I think it’s one of the worst places to work

I just had a phone screen today with a recruiter. I was initially sent an email last week for the phone screen this week. The recruiter asked me total comp I needed. She didn’t know exactly. It’s to launch Teze with a co-promote with AZ. Start date by August 30. A couple questions came to mind: AZ Biologic team sells Faserna which would be a competitor to Teze. Conflict of interest? Also Teze doesn’t have a PDUFA date yet. Why are they hiring this early? ‍♂️

If you are calling on allergists and pulmonologist your territory ain’t gonna be that big, most won’t even have overnights

Not yet.....I heard 7-10 business days from your phone screen.

Depends on where you live. It’s 5 hours from one end of the territory to the other where I live.

There is always exceptions , but 85-90% of territories will have no overnight travel.
