Massive layoffs of 50% or more coming to all divisions from Xeljanz to Women Health.

The past 18 months Pfizer has validated profit increases not seen in decade with reps at home and revenue per vaccine flat.
Now with the Vaccine estimate 30 billion yr with no reps promoting it, Pfizer is going into a complete overhaul of the sales model for 2022.

They have taken bids from Publicis & Quintiles that we know of & likely others for 20hr week Tele-Reps. Other companies are currently using these venders with PT Tele-Reps during covid and have extended contracts into 2022.
Genentech, Merck, J&J GSK, AZ..... so this will be the future sales model for Pfizer:
    - 30% live Pfe reps at 150k yr
    - 20% Pfe PT Virtual Reps at 1/2 salary
    - 50% Vender Tele Reps 20hrs wk for 30k yr

Yes other companies have been doing this the past year and the ROI is huge, alot greater than live reps for fraction of the costs.

I see this working extremely well in IM, Xeljanz, Derm, but not so much with Oncology or Rare Disease.

Regardless of the new 2022 sales model, 50-60% overall cuts coming.

If you can see the future regarding layoffs I suggest you play the lottery. Fact is you don't know shit. You dork

Gsk just cut a ton of Syneos reps on Pharma side and all of Syneos on vaccine side.

You post these ridiculously elaborate prognostications as if you have any idea of what the company is going to do or what is going to happen. I remember you posting this exact same thing at the beginning of the pandemic and even before that. Yet nothing you've ever said has materialized.

Not surprised because Syneos is constantly laying reps off. how many Syneos reps does pfizer have?

not to mention Pfizer’s severance package is massive Compared to Syneos’ two weeks severance.

If Syneos is laying off then why so many postings on LinkedIn etc?

    And I said 6m ago
    Hiring freeze by Summer
    By Fall downsizing announcement
    For Jan layoffs
So far true on all accounts.
Would you like to wager you severance as I would gladly take that bet & double match it given is obvious you never worked in HQ.
    Good luck JJ

How will they choose the in person reps? And will the $150,000k be same for all those reps?

Don't worry, you'll get a chance to come back as a Syneos rep for about 65000 bucks, a car allowance, and a shitty insurance plan with a $10,000 deductible. They'll hire you the day your WARN period starts

So, what is really going on? Is any of this even true? I never get a straight answer out of my Koolaid snorting manager.

They'd be stupid enough to try it, that's for sure. They think that doctors will want to talk to us like they order an on-demand movie or something from Amazon.

Maybe in a situation where all companies were locked out due to an indefinite pandemic, I could see that.

But what these morons don't understand is that our competitors are all back in the field now and we are not. I don't know how they don't see the problem with that.

If the other team doesn't even SHOW UP, and they think they are in a winning position I'd really wonder what they were smoking

There letting 50% of the assets of the company be given up
Their firing 50% of the reps during a global crisis
Their putting 50% of the world in a medical emergency that may go on for ever.
It is important for them to let you know they have no loyalty to you or your family.

This is spot on. They act like Dr's will be dialing us up every day because we are Pfizer. Reality is they'll just wait for one of our jackass competitors to walk in and talk with them and get resources from them. It's common sense actually.

They will let half of us go and keep untold billions for themselves instead of RSU's and stock options for employees.

It may not be in my generation or the next, but eventually there will be a worldwide revolt against corporate greed.

I love how this company is going down the drain, Reps haven’t been on the road in eons, we’re probably all losing our jobs, and all you can comment on is grammar.
