Another fine example of what’s being discussed. NN did t let you go, they fired you.

Guarantee you he walked away with a $1 mil severance package, at least.

...and an understanding that he’d never be welcomed back. Total failure as a leader.

Sure. I bet he was hanging his head in shame as he deposited that check. I mean, Novo is such an amazing company now - great culture, huge product portfolio, motivated sales force. I bet he is incredibly upset that they wouldn’t want him back.

Sales forces are motivated when they’re making money. That’s not happening at NNI right now, so it’s not terribly motivating over here but it would be worse if BOGI was still around.

Is it just me, or does it look like Howdy Doody’s been on a nacho cheese flavor Doritos binge?

Who knows? Doug is running this fucking ship into to the ground right now. Good field leaders or bad field leaders, you can only do so much to overcome ineptitude at the top. I know we don’t want Bob back, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want us back either.

Doug and Bob are typical Pharma dipshit leaders. They both went to lame, third rate universities and they try to sell themselves like they’re ivy leaguers because they got “certificates” that are basically useless. All these people do is follow orders then push down silly ideas from the out of touch people at the top. I doubt either one has ever had an original thought. The worst part is they’re not even likable, so in addition to being worthless as leaders, they worthless as people. We’re lucky Gilot is gone, too bad we can’t get rid of Doug too.

For both, the only thing they can ever think of to do is to tinker with the sales structure every 2-3 years. They recycle old ideas as new ones, and disrupt everything in the field as a result. That’s one of the primary reasons that people are unhappy right now. My guess is that they really don’t have any idea what to do, but they buy themselves a little bit of time each time they change the structure. Surely Denmark can’t be happy with what has happened under Doug’s watch. Getting rid of BOGI was a great move. It’s time to dump DUGL as well.

Evidently Gilot gave up on the restructuring routine and now focuses his incredible intellect on creative ways of spreading COVID. Looks like AZ is seeing what recycling bad leaders looks like.

I'm as disappointed in the Ivy League schools for giving out those certificates for the $$$$$ so that clowns like them across the country can pretend the were "accepted" into a program like it is Grad School admissions or something. That scenario is REALLY OLD. I knew a guy once who went to one of those programs who claimed afterwards that he went to Harvard Bus. School after he got his "certificate"

I know you didn’t like the video. But, are you really convinced that virtual calls work well enough for us to stay employed? I’m not.

This isn’t last May. That video was made and shown 2 months after COVID hit. Putting pressure on reps then was both immoral and unethical.

Some companies were back in the field by then. If AZ was, then I don’t think there was anything wrong with it. Some companies/people were more scared and conservative than others. If they were locked down as a company and he was telling them to get out there anyway, then it was wrong. If they opened up and he was telling them to get out there, it was fine.

ok BOGI and/or his crony, you must feel
Pretty special to keep coming back and keeping this stupid thread alive.

I’m just responding to someone else’s post. And, if I said something that wasn’t true, let me know.

You say “if they opened up”, but his video tells people to “stop calling to check in and do what ever it takes to get in front of them including “meeting them at their back door”. Most people who saw the video took that for it what it was, direction to get in front of the docs regardless of whether they were opened back up or not. Did you see the “get creative” part? That was NOT what customers wanted, AND it made people feel threatened in a weird way. The video was not good.

If AZ had reps in the field, then his guidance was fine. If you’re working, you go out and try to see customers. Why else would you be out in the field? To drive around in circles all day?

Quit being so sensitive and melodramatic. He told reps who were out in the field to go try to meet customers. Believe it or not, many customers actually did see reps even though their systems closed access. I get the fact that you don’t like him, but surely it can’t be because he told some reps to go do their jobs.

The direction, not guidance, was to meet customers whether the customers were meeting with reps or not. That is clear, and that is unethical. It doesn’t matter what AZ said was ok You can try to sugar coat a turd, but it’s still a turd.
