Been looking for their Unicorn RDs for quite sometime now. Going from
3 to 2 regions which demonstrates fiscal discipline and more than likely that they believe their drug will be a tough sell against Alexion who currently has the market and has ramped up significantly to defend their franchise. Yes the Apellis drug has good data against o e of the Alexion drugs but Alexion has done a great job switching patients to their longer duration product. Combine that with a cocky CEO and relatively inexperienced leadership team and it has all the makings of a finger pointing, micro-managing shit show. Good luck!

 

Opening now for Head of Sales as well as Regional Sales Directors. Interviews have been ongoing for RSDs for at least 3 months and now Head Of Sales is open. What gives?

 

Ceo is a smug loser. Notice every article has a photo of his face. Never the Apellis logo or anything, just of him.

 

Company is Smug also as is leadership Think they will get a good old fashioned ass kicking from Alexion when they launch

Depends upon what function. Culture is pretty different from department to department.

 

Thanks! Interesting to note given the smaller size of the company. Curious about the Sales and over Commercial function culture given how new the organization is.

 

There's a lot of people from Biogen at Apellis starting from the Chief Commercial Officer down. So, culture and ways of working are essentially identical to Biogen.

 

Avoid the hyphen.

 

Beware. Toxic culture.

 

Culture is great. All of the deadweight is gone
