Let me start off by saying you do not have to take anything I say seriously since this is an online anonymous fourm. With that said I think if you read any of the posts before, it is all true. This place has engineered a way to make you feel like an awful human being. Being in a high position of power will only work if your apart of the "family" or lou's crew. It's scary after reading all these posts while working for Lou has been eye opening. She is so slick and has made me realize that she isn't a nice person at all. The best word I can describe her is a Psycopath. I was brought in after living in Florida for a long time. Lou was good friends with my mom and I was brought in as a intern working for her. Everything everyone has said on here is true. You can't make this shit up. I know I'm preaching to a choir but trust me, this is the worst experience of my life. She has me lockdown and i don't have any real world experience to leave this god awful place. Send your regards and thank god for cafepharma.

Did you say you still work there?! Your post might make your employment come to an end. It is hard when the rug is slipped out from under you and you learn that someone you had once thought was good hearted is not. Good luck to you. She doesn't have any hold over you. Don't over estimate her power or influence (that is all in her own head). She is not respected by business leaders in the community. You have options.

I hope these words come from Sandra's confession in jail after someone dies from illegal production and product sales. Cut corners and hire friends. One day someone will die from this production facility.

Newsflash for you: turnover is just the way of life for pharma reps these days. incredibly unstable profession given all that has changed with managed care and the ability to get offices the last few years. More than half our job is food ordering, and you know it. So turnover is relatively elevated everywhere, if you open your eyes you'd see that. We just stay a year or two, sometimes even shorter, understand we lack impact in what we are doing but still somehow conclude we are underpaid, leave for what we think are greener pastures only to quickly realize its just the same old with another company name on our measly paychecks.

How does a company wide turnover rate of close to 70% sound? Is that normal?

Nephron is the only place I ever worked where so many employees hoped it would fail, if only to spite the CEO.

Lou is a demeaning, rude, delusional, bitch. Plain and simple.

It’s disgusting how she gets the local media to paint her and Nephron in such a positive light. Money does wonders for your image. She is the most vile and self serving person I have ever known. The greed is palpable, and she’ll do anything she can to try and stack up to Bill’s success. She’ll have to do a lot to get everyone to forget how she fucked the Orlando facility and all of those people there. It’s only a matter of time before the FDA catches on to her bullshit in Columbia. That simple southern bell act will only take her so far.

So true, I am so glad and sad regarding NPC. Glad I am out of that place and sad for the few good people that are trapped.

I get where you're coming from but everyone has a choice. There are a good amount of people that come in, get paid, and go home with little to no interaction with the insanity. But anyone in a position to be abused and berated has a choice. The ones who benefit the most financially, have made their choice. You have to give all of yourself to them and you are consistently and intentionally challenged to show your loyalty, kiss the ring if you will. Those people have sold their souls for a better life on paper, but in fact, the sacrifice is far greater than what it's worth. That crazy bitch commends you when your home life goes to shit because of your dedication.

It's also very sad that with all the things going on in the world right now (namely Covid), that the professionalism at Nephron is so nonexistent. So glad I no longer work there.
Employees drink and have sex in the parking lot, or are caught in the bathrooms, despite all the cameras. Married men and women treat the place like a disgusting dating app. Excessively long lunch breaks, talking about how good such and such looks in that". Some supervisors (especially married females) often act in a highly derogatory, racist way, especially in BFS and Quality Departments.

The 1st Shift QA supervisor that I reported to (Christy M., I think?) had it in for me because a coworker and I were discusing her cheating on her significant other in a car in the parking lot. Saw this on more than one occasion, I might add.
Next thing I know, she told upper management that I was "not doing my job, treating her with disrespect"- and depite her horrible attitude- I was portrayed as being racial. Was walked out soon after. Good riddens.
It proved to be for the best, but I do hope that boyfriends/ girlfriends/ spouses of people who work at Nephron are in the know. That place is a nightmare. However, if you buddy up to a supervisor (think parking lot), then you are good foe a while. I am a happily married mother of four- my kids and husband are my life. SORRY! Haven't and would never do that.
The FDA should seriously shut that place down, and mandatory STD tests and harassment training wouldn't hurt either.
