Like the title says, is anyone concerned about the possible pending sale of Medline?
will the new owners have the same vision as the current ones when it comes to expansion and growth?
how will they treat us sales reps?

The Mills. Current employees. Current customers. Competitors. The WSJ. Goldman Sachs. The Mills' wealth management team.

Don't worry about Medline being bought. Nothing will change, but you can get delivery in about 2 hours.

    Yours truly,

They going to break that bitch up? Mills staying on for a bit to keep the troops from bailing .Those turkey buzzards going to pick it clean. They in the temple with the moneychangers now.
No more give it away to gain share . The millls prob squeezed most of the cost out. Maybe send a bit more over to China. Heck could even get sold to the communists in China. Perfect entry to medicsl.

Medline has become a micro-managed company with too many layers of management reps report to. Many of the newer managers are title driven and don't understand the true purpose of their roles. More successful reps are leaving the company due to this reason. Unfortunately the Mills are disconnected from the reps and instead get their "feel" from idiots like Glade French. Real managers coach, encourage, support and motivate their sales reps.

If you think the Mills did not give a shit about you, just wait for the new owner to take over.

Hell even Charlie's brother-in-law bailed out while the getting was good.

Makes sense to sell the whole company to the Chinese. I expect the Chinese’s would like to enter the healthcare market and have more control. This way they would have control over the Medline supply chain. . They certainly have the money. Thw equity boys are in it to make money, not sell bandaids.

You know Medline put lipstick on that pig before they sold it. Cuts costs, bought business. Anything to make it look better in order to dump it. Q

For the reps it’s hold onto your ankles. Get ready for the equity guys to cut your pay. Once they figure out the were duped they will want to get their money back. Gonna be an ass whupping and the reps are first in line.. oh they’ll tell you how much they need you, that’s standard . Next thing you know you aren’t making plan and your pay tanks

Lol the first pay cut happened last year with the “pandemic item” list under the guise of helping to keep people’s future quotas reasonable. Only a taste of what’s to come I think.

And so we are in the thick of it. Lots of reps I know looking to jump ship. Hardly anyone hitting quota.

Medline has always been notorious for the managers being real a**holes to their reps. A sale of the company would be better for reps, corporate HR standards would take over and give more protection from the gustapo.
