I’m curious as well. Also wondering if they will interview anyone with specialty sales experience outside of ophthalmology.

They ask how many years of Ophthalmology sales do you have in application . Review date is in October so I don't see them hiring asap. I was contacted to phone screen and have Ophthalmic sales and other Specialty areas . Cars would be great but since it's a mass hiring remains to be seen.

I’ve heard they will be paying well but offering car allowance...

From what I heard they are hiring the 162 reps in 3 phases. Start dates July 12, Aug 2, and Aug 16. In some geographies they are willing to take reps without much experience which is why salary range is 80-120k but they do have room for negotiation. I heard as high as 145. Bonus is 40k annually at plan. 5 choices of Insurance Plans. Car allowance fixed amt plus variable amounting to $800-$1k a month. Equity given as well.

Only problem is you have to work with the leftover riff raff from Shire like MC and HZ (he's a real DB). They'll probably also hire KK back.

This company is a joke! Look at the group of misfit managers that they hired. I’m so happy to see all of these reps on LinkedIn talk about how wonderful this company is. They must be giving them some delicious kool aid at the training.
The product is going to be a miserable failure. OPH aren’t use to prescribing nasal sprays. In fact, Allergan’s attempt a few years ago proved that this delivery method was of no interest to OPH or OPT.
I also find it laughable that they are giving their reps $400 for the use of their own personal car. What a cheap a_s company!

I understand that Med D is not even an option if approved in October.

Senior leadership- The Florida manager CR doesn’t work. He has a track record of faking field rides. He will ask the reps who they saw and what happened. Then he document the field ride as if he was in the field. He provides NO valuable assistance. Wish you company the best of luck.

hahaha…I turned this joke of a position down. You will be on the unemployment line soon enough.

Some managers left stable retina positions to be “leaders “ at Oyster thinking the future products could be real. This should be interesting

med D is wayyyyy off my friend. You are going to have to pull-through your commercial coupons. You will be starting with hardly any coverage at all. This is where only the best reps will prevail.

    Agree
Incompetent JS who Takeda didn’t want, Novartis didn’t want so he’s at some dry eye start up hoping to sell out while selling the kool aid and once again lying to the commercial team
    Liar
    Loser
    Cheater
    Alcoholic
    Weirdo

They will be aggressive with coverage just to get numbers on the books for market share even if they aren’t true sales
Then Sniz will bail as usual and leave everyone behind with his empty promises
