I was crushing my Covid Vaccine quota, then my manager made me get out my “wooden U” and incorporate that into my messaging. Shortly thereafter my numbers tanked and we had a huge outbreak in cases in my territory. Thankfully my DM got Covid and is a on a ventilator and should die this week. After that I can get my sales back on track. First thing I’m doing after the funeral is throwing away that wooden U.

 

Who are you selling the COVID vaccine to? Doesn't Pfizer have a contract in place with the federal government? I thought the logistics of distribution was all handled by the Fed. Am I wrong?

The entire world would have had to contract it at or near the same time without any mutations. It mutated too quickly. It is here forever.

It may be $36 billion, but it’s also 100% coming from the Fed govt. This is in a vacuum. No competition per se, no price negotiations from other entities buying. This is all fantasy. It’s great right now. But we have to compete in other markets with these “25 in 5” products. Feds aren’t buying these. There will be a lot of competition. That competition will have resources that are actually out doing a job.

Biden is pushing for allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices. Pharma profits will take a big hit which means layoffs….. major layoffs across the board.
