Safe vs. Doomed Divisions?

    You are exactly right and this has needed to be done for years. Clean house. Reset the bloated middle management ranks and salaries. The blockbuster products are gone. The employment ranks cannot be justified and longer.

    I don’t know that they will tell us anything tomorrow…. Not sure why they are even hanging in to Team 1.

    Not sure how long you have been here. But I remember when we had 12k reps. We may have 2,500 at most with record profits. Sales is the face of Pfizer. It’s not the person in a cubicle in HQ. Hell I bet there are 2,500 people in those buildings that we don’t even like what they do based on their title. They sure as hell aren’t generating revenue. I don’t even know if they are managing it.

    With your current sucky leadership, it would be difficult to determine who is safe and who is doomed. Who even wants to work for these people anymore?

    Where did you hear this information from? I believe it, just curious. Just waiting on my severance payout

    Me too. Maybe the person meant since we didn't get a call first of August, we are good for another month.

    So if let go what will they pay that hasn’t been used so far this year?
    Carry over vacation from 2020?
    Vacation earned from this year?
    6 Personal days?
    Caregiver days?
    Want to manage my time off appropriately.

    If it’s the same as Team 3 only up to 7 vacation days, no personal days, no caregiver days. Use up your personal days first.

    Thanks! So they will only pay for 7 days of vacation regardless of how much unused you have? That should really be in writing somewhere.

    They will pay all vacation not used to date and any carryover from last year. No personal days and no caregiver days.

    Downsizing / Packages being offered to Primary Care reps, ie InternalMedicine, to be announced 3rd qtr. and total finalization by mid December.
    Prepare and get your resumes dusted off. Upward to 30-40%

    I have no clue what a Team 1 is but why does eliminating a Team equal layoffs of people. Could it be a realignment?
