Training director and team are good. Training for anyone other than sales is not a priority. Throw 'em in the deep end and see if they can swim! I was never trained on a single thing by my manager. Not one thing.
If you want training, growth or development, this isn't the place for you. Leadership doesn't care about those things. Besides themselves, they put the money into things they do care about--look around and see who's getting promoted and who's getting budget. It sure isn't training or development, unless you're joining the company as a new sales rep. Everyone else is on their own.
Sounds as if North America’s training team went to zero employees this morning, other than for the director few can stomach. Nobody likes someone who does no real work other than to pacify senior leaders while claiming credit for all the hard work of their team members. Maybe someday senior leadership will see the real problem is the director but highly unlikely.
Here's the catch, at CSL there is no real training. I've never felt so unsupported than thru training. They train messages no real disease state nor real world scenarios. Training at CSL is a joke so having no training department shouldn't really impact us much.
Bob L has no respect for anyone else. One of the has-beens from Wyeth running the same tired plays, trying to prove he has game since the basketball thing didn't work out. Ouch. Paul must not really care about the employees like he says he does. Why are we stuck with this creepy loser? He's definitely hit his expiration date.
LD cares deeply - about herself and her survival. She will sell out any of her direct reports at the drop of a hat and accepts all the credit for their work. She masterfully manages up.
I came from big pharma, they have an idea in training of what they want but they want but they can’t execute
