I'm thinking about applying for an oncology position selling Enhertu. Is it really as bad as some posters say or are they just disgruntled ex-employees? What's the salary range and bonus for roles selling this product? Are you actually calling on oncology and do you overlap with other reps selling the same product?

It’s a lot of work, you’re chasing all day long for docs to refer business to rendering sites. That’s not the hard part, the hard part is, once the docs refer to the site, it’s getting those rendering sites to use the product. A lot of empty promises from docs and unrealistic quotas from Managment. I wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole. It will fuck up your resume and will be the one job you wish u never applied for. You can work for months on end and not see any results. Access is horrible in these hospitals and turnover is very high. Good luck if you are applying.

Agree with last post. Unreasonable expectations. Fake managers who do not help reps. Pressure environment that is not enjoyable

You guys are being too nice. Dumpster fire is an accurate description of what’s going on. Most oncology offices and hospitals closed their doors due to COVID. DSI says they understand but still have unreasonable expectations with primary care reach and frequency goals. Many good reps and managers have left. This place doesn’t have a true oncology feel. I regret coming here.

Ship is sinking fast. Mass exodus. Much better drugs being approved now. Not the strongest data behind ENHERTU. Good managers left. New managers are terrible

    HO here:

We are just finalizing our books for realignment. Give or take you have 6 weeks to start applying for a new job. DSM’s are evaluating all reps and have field rides scheduled. Starting off in alphabetical order with those who are doing the bare minimum. Good luck to you all. Don’t do the most now, you have already spotted. If you need to cancel or reschedule your field ride, you will be the first to go. No remorse for lazy reps. The bell has rung, the purge has started.

Is it “as bad” as people say? It’s worse. Way, way worse.

So where were you during the insurrection, you Trump loving snowflake? You work in pharma AND either are at Daiichi/Were at Daiichi and yet still somehow your privileged surroundings have given you a false sense of importance… STFU and collect your check like everyone else and keep your bull*hit opinions to yourself and your family that you most likely neglect and constantly disappoint

I was behind the insurrection. Kiss the ring when u summon me. I don’t collect the check I write them. Enjoy your severance package… I put a little extra this time because I was in a giving mood. You’re welcome.

Matt and Kara: leave DSI and find a company with primary care-go back to your roots, you know nothing about oncology.

Feel bad for you , I’m sure you do . I’ve heard that is why the turnover rate is so high. What a shame because the product is good and has been well received . Wrong people running the company for certain.

Zero. I went to a real oncology company. Day and night with leadership.
