Novartis could care less about the health of the reps. It's not safe out there.

Field rides need to stop! Not safe and makes us look bad.

This post implies manager field-rides had a purpose in the first place.
They don't, and they never did.
You are correct that it is embarrassing to have to explain why there is a completely unnecessary person sitting in their office during the pandemic, but there is simply no chance Novartis would every suspend manager field-rides.
They sent reps back into the field late last spring and expected seven calls per day. If that isn't an indicator of what senior management thinks of the revenue-generators, than nothing is.
What will be fascinating is when the holidays roll around and COVID is absolutely destroying the anti-vaxx set. What will offices do? Shut the reps out again? If they do, how will senior management respond?

Wonder if they will require reps to get vaccinated or get out. Novartis has shown they want reps in the field. If Delta continues to spread, Novartis will look like ***holes sending unvaccinated people into Dr.s offices.

Funny how they are protecting everyone in the home office. For the field they sent a mask and spray are you joking. We are risking our lives and of my three little kids. Yet my manager is out every two weeks. Sitting in my car next to me for 8 hours. Hey Vas do something!

If you have kids or live with someone who can’t get vaxxed AND science says vaccinated people can spread COVID (as of today-the CDC doesn’t have a damn clue wtf is going on) NVS needs to step up and set guidelines. I guess wear a mask and gloves in your own home since you have a manager who wants to intrude on your personal space in your car without a mask on? It’s balsy AF. It should be prohibited for managers to expect to be anywhere with a field rep without a mask on, let alone in the same car. And NO in person meetings. HR…hope you are reading this. No POA’s. Cut the bullshit and have some awareness.

My manger does not care pressure from RD. I am not going to HR because I like her. This has to come from Victor or maybe they think we are disposable. Novartis sent their reps back before any company.

Tell you manager to rent a car and follow you. Tell them they are not allowed in your car during Covid

No way would I let a manager ride in the car unmasked with me. They have cars, can follow you and meet you masked up. No reason to share a car.

Just wait until January and it is time for launch. COVID will be raging, we will be locked out of half our offices and nobody will be accepting appointments.
Senior management will surely show their ass in a way that will make their previous disregard for our health look like a day at the beach.
Live training, strict call expectations, in-services, management tagging along every day, etc
All while offices are locking us out.
It is about to get really ugly.

Yet, they are hiring several hundred more CRM reps during a pandemic. Stupid

No they did not. My company sent us back a few weeks before Novartis.

Why does Novartis speak up on every social issue yet is silent on Covid and the safety of the field force?

They do not care if we get sick or die. As long they are safe. Now pick up your manager and hit 10 offices in 2 days.

NOT TRUE! You just don’t want your manager to see how incompetent and clumsy you are in a presentation! I, on the other hand, love the opportunity to show them just how damn good I am, and that I don’t hide behind a little cold-like virus! THATS WHY I GOT VACCINATED AND WILL BE FIRST IN LINE FOR A BOOSTER SHOT!

I bet you sweat bullets if you have to role play at a meeting! I can see it now, your face turning red from heat and embarrassment. Beads of sweat popping out like popcorn. Your eyes darting back and forth trying to remember every single point on the vis-aid! You can actually feel it to your soul the audience of your peers holding back snickers and laughs. You might even release a few drops of pee! What a disgusting creature you are to hide behind Covid like a cowardly rat. God help your buddy in a firefight with you in some God foresaken country you little snowflake POS!

neuro mgt forced in person district meetings on every one. Florida team had unvaccinated people attend and 3 got sick with covid one pretty badly. This was 3 weeks ago. No change in management approach. They don’t care about your health at all

Having a flu isn't "Badly"...every year people get sick with the flu or a cold. Some worse than others. I know the person you are talking about.

You are a complete moron. Some people suffer from social anxiety disorder and have problems with public speaking. I am sure you are the type of guy to attack Simone Biles. My bet you have a little tiny dick to be so cocky. Trying to compensate for something right big guy. Your lovers laughing behind your back. Because you can never satisfy them. Now sit down and shut up you POS.

Where was Exton after the field reps got forced back into the field in June 2020?
That's right. He was on sabbatical playing grab-ass for six months.
While the revenue generators were subject to absurd call averages and equally preposterous goals he was off getting his fake Harvard degree.
If he had a modicum of self awareness he would understand how universally reviled he is (not that his pompous ass would care).
