    Then you'd have to sell Xiidra and while it is used more than Eysuvis they still don't have any Medicare coverage after 5 years!

    This whole thing is comical. You realize those at Novartis are MISERABLE! The Tesla option is only viable for tiny territories—-which we don’t have. My friends who work there talk about the “unlimited” sick days….they aren’t unlimited when your territory isn’t doing well.

    If your numbers are slipping, your manager puts an extreme amount of pressure on you therefore you don’t want to take the days off. If you do take the days off in spite, then they start building a case against you so you don’t have a job anymore.

    culture makes companies—and Kala nor Novartis have culture.

    Well, at least Novartis is a more secure and stable company and the stock is around $92 with a buy rating from many analysts. Whereas Kala is a little mismanaged biotech sinking with a $3.30 stock price and an AVOID rating from most analysts. I really hope the new hires weren’t lied to during interviews and told that the EYSUVIS launch is going well and that the bonus range is on average around 40k. Because there are a lot of talented and experienced reps here that have launched many drugs and they all will tell you that this is the absolute worst launch they have ever seen or been a part of. And the majority of the sales force will be lucky if they make 15-20k in bonus this year. You will most likely see 10% of the sales force over 100% to goal and that’s it!

    So basically it’s the same exact thing that we have here except they get the week btwn Christmas off. Because this place has zero culture anymore and is a toxic trash heap. The laughingstock of the eyecare world nobody wants to come here, it makes me question why some of the new people have? How bad was it where they were? KC probably just shoveled a bunch of bullshit at them.

    Why is it is impossible for this company to pay out expenses in a timely fashion? Shouldn't be this hard.

    Right? Our manager didn’t know until June that her expenses weren’t being paid by the company. Whaaaat?? As a manager you had probably an extra 50k in your account and Didn’t Notice???? How is that even possible?? Unorganized, zero handle on her job

    Right? There is a manager who had said she had no idea this company didn’t pay her cc directly. That was JUNE. How does a grown woman not notice an extra 50k in her account!!?? Organized much?? Kevan, you just going to let this idiot keep firing her whole team or you going to wake up and cut the fat?

    So obviously she wasn't paying her bill, omg!! There are crazy things my manager has asked me that make me wonder how they were hired!?

    What is up with the ludicrous cell phone policy!? It is ridiculous that they expect us to hand over the itemized bill. I have one line for me and only me and I use that line for business as well as personal. IT IS NONE OF KALA'S BUSINESS WHO ELSE I AM CALLING or is calling me AND WHEN. What are you going to do go line by line and call the numbers to make sure they are offices!?
    I have never every had to include this in any other company expense report.
    What kind of crazy company did I just join? I'm beginning to think coming here was a huge mistake.
    We all know we can't expense more than $100, so reimburse us for the $100 and be done with it! Nobody is asking for reimbursement for the family plan. Stop being so cheap!

    Dude....they want to see who you are calling and who is calling you.
    Calls over 2-3 minutes will be researched.

    This is outrageous and unacceptable. I was just on the phone the other day with numerous offices for well over 10 min trying to figure out issues. They can kiss my ass!

    I think they want to see which reps are talking to which reps. My manager recently asked all of us individually who we talk to. When our numbers looks this bad as a whole and our stock price is in the tank, THIS is Kevan’s focus??? Focus on Your Job Kevan!!!!! Picking apart phone bills to see who may be talking to someone who thinks ill of you will Not Improve your stock price

    They should be especially sure to check the phone records of the manager who didn’t know she had to pay her own cc bill. She rents a car and follows all of her reps on field rides. Waste of $ and valuable collaboration time. Who is she on the phone with? I know she is interviewing.
