So....how many of you have been double dipping during Covid? This is been my best year and half ever!! Double income for working half the time! Played more golf this summer than any other and even made enough to put in a new pool and hot tub. haha

Been double dipping long before Covid! I know my ASM knows, but they have looked the other way. This is not something that is ever mentioned. I think the RSD knows but doesn’t care! I have an unbelievable setup that obviously I can’t divulge on here! I really don’t think they are bothered by double dipping.

Love it! Good for you! I've been interviewing and just got an offer. Base is $120k. Totally different company/product. Not in psych or Neuro so I'm really tempted to do it and keep this shitty job since I've barely worked the last 1 and a half anyway. Figured I might at least be able to pull it off for a few months.

    120k? Must be primary care.

Psych rep here and all I know is I'm currently interviewing and every recruiter has told me I'm grossly under paid here at Lundy. In my final 2 interviews with 2 different companies and base pay is $130k at one and the other is $140k. One is Hematology and the other is Psych....I can't wait to be done here. So sick of Tres and company with their ridiculous metrics and stupid homework to watch movies.

Yeah , I get it too. But I have been working only a few hours a day for so long now and gotten away with it, it’s hard to walk away. Lundbeck is in a deep hole that they never will be able to be even a minor player in pharma. I mean look at the crappy drugs we have. Not a single one is considered to be innovative. The only good thing about management is how blind and stupid they are. I just wish I could tell you who my ASM is and their company history! You simply wouldn’t believe how this misfit got hired and has been able to stay hired!

I know I will eventually have to look for another company, but damn this is just way to easy right now.

Kaya and Tres will eat you double dippers for breakfast. He is a brilliant man who has hired the best management team in American pharma and you will not be able to fool these men and women for long. In addition Kaya is like a fortune telling gypsy and will see through the games you are playing. Be very careful because they are going to get you.

As for our great products, we are saving people’s lives. This pandemic has allowed so many to be at home and now they are being forced back into a volatile world that is stressful. They need us to educate providers and save lives. I wake up each morning and think about Tres and my management team, the hard work they pour into my efforts and this motivates me to get out that door and help them save people. I’m so happy to work for this magnificent group.

God, I feel so ashamed after reading your “tell-it-like-it-is” post. Yes, we are damn lucky to be graced with the brilliance of “Glover the Uh, Uh,Tres”, Kaya the Clueless, JA aka Dwayne The Juicer, Peter the Plain, and last but not least, Her Majesty Baker of Dunsire. Yes, yes we are saving the lives of patients by challenging psychiatrists to treat depression and schizophrenia! By asking, “doctor do you see patients that have symptoms of depression?” What a great conversation starter! With that one question, they will stop dead in their tracks, turn around from walking off, and say “Why yes, yes I DO SEE SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION!

My attitude has changed. As I walk into the light this morning my mind is swirling like a tornado! I am planning, and strategizing for the day ahead. A day filled with……the gym, tennis lessons, and going to the grocery store! You see, I realized that I am beyond redemption. I am me. Never to change because I can’t. This I must live with.

This is comical. I’ve worked for 4 different companies and they have all attempted to motivate by telling us it’s for the patients. We all know it’s about putting money in the coffers, that’s it.

I really don’t know why pharma insist on these bloated managerial teams beyond job security for themselves. They serve zero purpose and appears our alliance Otsuka wants to shed themselves of that useless appendage, good for them.

What is Otsuka planning on doing?

Couldn't agree more! The days need of district managers, ride alongs, useless team calls....they are a waste of time and money. No offices want an extra body coming into their space nowadays. Reps don't want managers riding in their cars with them.

I nearly just choked on my lunch. Hahahaha that response is the most ridiculous thing I've read in awhile. I hope you're being sarcastic otherwise you might be the most brainwashed rep on this sinking ship. Tres hasn't figured out in almost 4 years that I'm looking out for myself and my family by working a sweet side gig that brings in about $70,000 a year. Thankfully I made the decision to do it too because I've got a nice little nest egg when the gauntlet finally drops here. In the meantime I'll ride the wave keep the computer happy with fake calls, maybe do 2 lunches a week and then enjoy myself playing golf, going to the beach and sleeping in.

Anyone who doesn't have a side gig(s) or a spouse making great money is a fool.

Otsuka us restructuring and going with 1 manager per about 20+ reps. They laid off a huge number of reps. Good idea

Otsuka did not lay anyone off. They had a volunteer retirement offer(please, please, please give it to us).

Knew that couldn’t be true because it makes so much sense! We should have done it years ago.

Not true. Managers were indeed let go.

I thought you all officially resigned. Didn’t realize you were double dipping.
