Rehashed capsaicin in patch delivery for Diabetic neuropathy, insurance isn’t going pay to put on 2 patches for an hour. Watch the denials come in . pain docs can use Medtronic device an get paid much $$ more money without using misc cat codes. Company should have gotten its own cpt. They screwed up.
I just left the place. They will promise high bonuses$25k perquarter which last about 6mo this. Beware all t of hype and lot of better options than chili pepper

Truth be told. Second go around will not work. Pain docs are being audited and averitas be seeing OIG for promoting codes that are not appropriate. Good luck
For those sold bag of worthless goods.

Simply Google "Jeannie Lloyds cafepharma" and you will save yourself a lot of grief and abuse!!! She has the worst reputation in the industry for "leading" sales teams. Abusive, nasty, and will routinely blame and fire people for her own lack of leadership. You have been warned. Achaogen and Actavis gave her the boot. Averitas is soooo shady (see CEO background) that you risk losing your ethics and soul if you take the job here.

When you hire someone from Purdue Pharma, the dirtiest company in America, that says a lot about who would want to work for this company. The patch sales are about 10M and if you get to 20M that would be impressive. The german company Grunenthal is an old dinosaur with declining sales who has made some pathetic deals like buying this patch and generic Crestor. Explain that strategy again? When is Averitas supposed to turn a profit. In a year or two they will shut this thing down.

No better way to turn an MD away from your medication than to waste their time and their staff's time writing for a product that will not get approved for coverage.

I am always shocked by the overwhelmingly negative comments on this site. I came on to search a specific topic, which had nothing, then curious about my company. Been in industry for 23 years, this company is the best culture I have been in. Super supportive and collaborative and those that got let go were not doing their job, to include leadership that promoted a silo mentality within their teams. Qutenza is growing at an amazing pace and coverage is fantastic if you go through buy and bill. Not so much if you go through pharma benefits. That's why we hire reps with a ton of buy and bill experience. Absolutely no reason you could not kill it here with all the opportunities and support.

met with her virtually. Totally not impressed. Particularly when she commented “you have been doing this a long time”. Not something a senior leader
    Should say to a
Candidate over 40. Told me all I needed to know

    Simple Formula:

Founder hires Big Pharma executive as Head of Commercial.

    - Head of Commercial hires sales and market access leadership based on their own insecurities, bringing in less intelligent “yes men” who can be controlled and stoke the Executives’ ego.

    - Market Access hired because they have a lot of contacts in the payer community, even though they have never been able to leverage these contacts to gain favorable payer status for any of their products and usually blame the sales teams for lack of product sales.

    - Sales leadership is typically big pharma friends or former colleagues (loyalist and yes men) or relatively inexperienced “leaders” who are eager to please “puppies” to their master (VP or Head of Sales).

Founders and Scientists continue to buy the line of BS from the Presidents and VP of Commercial Leadership that they hire, unknowingly starting off with a “Big Pharma” culture instead of a Start-up culture. It’s easy to blame the Founders and Scientists for making this mistake but we all know they:

    - Are arrogant and believe their medicine is so good that it will actually sell itself.

    - Are awkward introverts in many instances and are easy to fool with a great line of BS.

    - Are either 1) completely hands off from commercial and provide little oversight to ensure their company is going to be successful, or; 2) complete control freaks that micromanage every decision being made, not allowing any chance of creating a successful commercial culture of trust, transparency and teamwork that must take place in a start-up.

There are many reasons start-up continue to fail, even with phenomenal products. It has been very rare to find a successful start-up over the past couple of years AND YET THIS TREND CONTINUES.

SUCH A WASTE! Founders and Scientists who are looking to form a successful start-up commercial team - WAKE UP!!!!!!!

The same rant, copied and pasted on yet another company page?

actually a spot on rant. Who cares if it was lifted? It applies, here.
This $1000 patch/product definitely does not sell itself even after a patient has received modest yet satisfactory benefits. If the office stops getting reimbursed as many across the country are, the patient won’t drive re-uptake.
And the company is filled with Yes Men. The female VP of sales doesn’t hire any … eh hem… “competition”… if you know what I mean. #Bowchickawowow

You must have been a CSO rep to think anything you wrote is true. Or taking too much Oxycontin. Growing at at an amazing pace? Going from 1M to 2M is 100% growth after all. OK boomer, Duh!

As long as you have a well designed tinfoil hat… you’ll be just fine over here.
