Why is our company still located in the pit of liberalism. Move to Texas. Relocate to Austin. Hop to Houston. Consider Dallas- it is a great city. Think about moving to a smaller town (New Braunfels, Waco, or Tyler) and live like kings/queens.

Why stay in a state where you are over taxed and suppressed with unrealistic covid restrictions. I know I am not crazy. California just lost a congressional seat because of the exodus of citizens.

    Come on down yall!

Amgen sets up shop where the talent is - office sites in TO, San Francisco, Cambridge, etc.. They prefer MIT, UCLA, Stanford, not the Hillbilly U's in Texass. They prefer to drive over the hill to the Boo for oysters and crab, not an Applebees in a strip mall. The 6k staff in SoCal would start a mutiny if we moved to BFE. Texass is only good for one thing at Amgen, the cheesy and cheap stank DFW hotels for meetins. He haw ya'll.

Because Texas is a shithole, and is the armpit of the country, and we love liberalism and we are willing to pay our fair share in taxes.

You sir are an idiot. Oh wait, you might be a mam, or a mam that used to be a man. I get so confused as to how you libtards identify these days. It would be the worst thing for Texas to have more libs move in and bring your stupid ideas with you.

The talent is in California??? You are delusional. Quit acting like you TO HQ folks live in Malibu. You live out in Inland Empire/Santa Clarita and drive.

If Texas were so bad, why are so many companies moving to Houston, DFW and Austin? HP got smart and relocated to Houston. Charles Schwab just moved their HQ from Cali to DFW. Several big tech companies have moved to Austin. And this is in the last few years. Companies have been relocating to Texas for the past 10 plus years.

Texas just picked up 2 congressional seats while California lost a seat. Your gov is facing a REAL recall election.

Your state's arrogance lost your middle class tax base. Don't act like you don't have a crappy Chevys or Del Taco near a strip mall in North LA.

The "talent" with economic sense has left California.

Hillbilly U?? Texas aTm and UT are in great demand across the country. SMU, Rice, TCU and Baylor are solid private universities. Quit acting like only smart people go to Stanford. There have been some $hitty decisions made at Amgen from people with Stanford degrees.

I will happily compare my taxes in Texas to your taxes in Cali....who is keeping more per dollar?

They moved there for cheap middle management and labor, and tax breaks. Texas is getting the losers who couldn't make it in California. Sort of like you dumbsass Trumpers who agreed with Trump saying all the immigrants where coming from shithole countries. That what you are getting from California...all the losers...most of whom where transplants anyway. Consider it like going from the gold champion tees to the white forward tees to improve your golf score...all it means is that you still suck and can't play from the big tees even if you improve your score slightly.

The state of Illinois just lost a congressional seat. My wife and I sold our Naperville home in Chicago in 2017. We relocated our 2 kids to the Ozarks for investment opportunities. Those investments lead us to a strategic opening of a casino. A year later we purchased a second casino.

Texas is a very economically friendly state. I hope that they will eventually allow casinos to open. My investment partner would happily provide generous upstart capital.

People are leaving California at such high rates it loses 2 congressional seats and people are moving to Texas at such a rate it gains 2 congressional seats. You sound like that Iraqi Minister of Information during the Gulf War.....”The Americans will surrender or face certain death due to our military might!”....yeah.....right.

Losers? You are saying Joe Rogan is a loser for leaving LA for Austin! Joe has one of the most popular pod casts and is very politically independent.

Speaking of golf, how many PGA golfers live in California vs Florida? Jupiter, FL is the epicenter of the PGA.
Officially, 35 PGA Tour pros live there, but between rentals and second (or third, or fourth) homes, the true number is certainly higher. Are they all losers for not living on the left coast? Or is it your states restrictive policies that keep people away!

Don't move to Florida. We don't want you.

They live in that right armpit of America...Florida for the zero state income tax. Tiger mentions it all the time...oh and where is he from and where does he still have houses? California.

You are really going to try to compare any track in Florida to Pebble, The Olympic Club, LACC, The Riv, and Torrey Pines? You may have a few more courses in Fla then we have in CA because your soggy mosquito infested land is so cheap, but I'll take quality over quantity every time. Lastly, how about you add up how many majors have been played in California versus Florida...I'll save you some time...it's not even close. I've played Innisbrook, TPC Sawgrass and Doral and they are like rec course muni's compared to the top courses in CA.

Hostility toward businesses, high utility and labor costs, punitive regulations and worrisome housing affordability for employees are among the many reasons why California based companies have fled the state.
Top relocation destinations for these companies are Texas, Arizona, Florida, and Nevada. Think about how many CA employees have left now that they can work remote.

Florida is the armpit of America? It is the top vacation destination in the US right now. How many people are flying to Cali to go to your beaches? Seriously?

Here are a few armpit areas:
    -Bakersfield
    -Compton
    -East/South LA
    -Hemet
    -Riverside
    -Oakland
    -Watts
    -West Hollywood
Should I continue to list area that are armpits? Would you like to compare violent crimes per capita compared to Florida?

The courses you mentioned are beautiful. California has spectacular areas: Malibu, Coronado, Monterey, and Laguna Beach to name a few areas. But here is the truth, I can keep more of my money by living in Florida and visit your state to play Pebble.

Music to my ears! Let all those right wing nut jobs leave CA! Good riddance!
