1,000 % true and this is the reason for this country’s problems, along with the Dems.

If you are a Bob or Jim and you don’t make over 200k in this country, you must have really F’d up. No excuse or reason not to. You own the team, referees, and make the rules.

you not caring about a people’s history is a MAJOR problem. You CAME to America and were accepted as a human being. Blacks were brought to the this country and treated like cattle. Our ancestors were raped and beaten daily. We were not looked upon as people. My grandparents could not shop in the same part of stores where white America shopped. They had to use back entrances. That wasn’t that long ago. Imagine the shame and the hurt that Black men felt because they were not allowed or able to provide for their families. These situations cause deep depression and years and years of devastation in families. You have no idea the hurt and the mental illness that slavery has caused the black community. It’s easy for you to say get up and bust your butt because you don’t have hundreds of years of pain anguish and mental health passed down. Sure many of us as black Americans have done well in this country but those of us that have done well still know the pain and the dreadful stories told by our grandparents and fathers while seeing the pain in their eyes. Many of us that have done well have also experienced being treated as less than because other Americans have preconceived beliefs that we are not as smart or we won’t work as hard. Well that’s a lie. Our ancestors worked hard for no pay. We helped to build this country that you are in Mr Korea. You should think about that before making arrogant statements about things you know nothing about.

This is actually the best post i have seen from that perspective and have definitely seen this from my perspective. Problem is, not enough say this is the reality and just quietly go along with the 'hate whitey' narrative when we pretty much have just as little control over the system despite what the media says. If white supremacy ruled the system why would we allow the system to bash us every single day? There would be cops cars showing up to the media outlets and BLM protests throwing everyone in jail that spoke against us.

Would you have preferred to have been “brought” to another country? Jews, Hmongs, Armenians, have all faced the same and worse in their history. Why is it they seem capable of not being handicapped by their horrific past experiences? Instead of allowing these injustices to be an anchor they’ve instead found a way to strengthen their resolve. Stop playing the victim and then you won’t be the victim. As terrible as history can be it cannot be changed. So choose! Will history define you? Or will history educate you?

Don’t get yourself worked up over these trolls. The 2 most dangerous things on this planet are sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. According to them, the Civil War wasn’t about race, yet What race were slaves in America? Personally, my generation doesn’t want token holidays and days off. We want Equity and revenge in terms of making up for Generational Wealth.

Which is communism. Equity is communism. You cant divvy up the same to everyone and expect the same result. The wealthy have children who produce nothing. The poor have people who excel. There will always be winners and losers. If you want to win, work harder, dont give up.

The more you people argue, the more money works its way to fewer and fewer people. One guy made $76 billion dollars last year, while wages were stagnant for 89 million people. If you paid more attention to what's really going on instead of shit that happened 150 years ago you'd be alarmed. But you are all too busy watching CNN and taking the bait on social media. It's a brilliant distraction.

‘Excellent post! The victim mentality, which is most often faked and not sincere, will never disappear. They want to punish this generation for what generations did 200 years ago. What an amazingly stupid way of looking at something! They will never, ever be satisfied with whatever they are given to satisfy their reparation desires. The divide in this country grows by the hour.

What's ironic is the lockdowns, defunding police, basically every leftist agenda ends up hurting the people they claim to care so much about. Minority businesses suffered the most this past year, minorities stand to suffer the most if there is less law and order. But to point out basic facts and observations now makes you a "conspiracy theorist"

85% of wealth is earned, 15% is inherited. Like it or not, this country is designed to reward people who work. Move to Cuba or Venezuela if you want the government to control everything

24 of the 25 poorest countries in the world are in Africa, the other one is Haiti. The US has the freest and most prosperous blk people in the world. I am baffled by the miserable and destructive narrative of the american left

In a capitalist society there are doggy daycares and doggy spas

In socialist countries, dogs are food

I heard this several years ago - people are poor because of the decisions they made in the past. If you took the wealth of the top 1% of American wage earners and gave it to the bottom 50%, the top 1% would have their wealth back in a matter of time. They will continue to do what made them successful and poor people will continue to do what made them poor.

No truer words have ever been spoken! Life is all about decision making. Poor people make poor decisions. Most rich people have made good decisions. The inner city kid that thinks it’s cool to be dumb and make poor grades, hang out with like losers, is making bad decisions. Most inner city kids have only one parent who is usually not the best role model. Daddy left long ago to spread his seed elsewhere to create more inner city kids. And the cycle continues.

Now they want the people who made good decisions to pay for their bad decisions! Or worse, pay for the sins of those who started slavery here 400 years ago, by pretending to have Post Slavery Victimization (PSV) ! You can feel the animosity seething beneath the surface of the good decision makers!

This is a very overly simplistic and not truly true.

In only a few countries do decisions affect one’s wealth. 99% of the world lives in a caste system of one form or another. People can’t escape their poverty because caste is fixed at birth. It’s even hard for the privileged to escape their privilege.

America doesn’t have a caste system but it once did even while trying to break the chains of caste. Slaves, women, and other groups were cut off from wealth accumulation, access to capital, education, and societal inclusion. Our country is far, far better than most but there are still challenges.

This isn’t a left/right issue statement. There are horrible leftist policies that seek to Balkanize America. There are horrible policies on the right that leave those cut off on the outside looking in. Meanwhile, those stuck in the middle have to make decisions based on what they know at the time from where they are in the moment.

You can’t expect a woman who’s been beaten and abused to make the ‘good decisions’ you think she should make.

You can’t just say that a 10 yo kid walking to school everyday in a bad neighborhood that’s getting beat up, chased and tormented by the same gang he ends up joining so he can finally feel a sense of security should be focused on science and math.

You can’t say these things or things like it until you acknowledge that the ‘good decisions’ you say the 1% make are MOSTLY(not all) made in a bubble wrap of privilege that allowed them to make those decisions.
