There are always going to be layoffs... this is true for every large pharma co. That’s just the way the cookie crumbles in 2021. Get over it, and be nimble.

Pfizer will send everyone back to the field then announce layoffs around July.

Why do you think there will be layoffs?

Are you on TEAM 1? If so, what are you actually selling that belongs to Pfizer? Premarin?
No new drugs coming unless we can contract something else.

Please look up Johns Hopkins simulation 2125-2128. It has gone live now. Cold blooded murder IMO.

It dicey on 1, the reality is 1 should have probably been cut and 3 kept to right-size given what is known. As usual the field is kept in the dark but unless something substantial develops in the next 6 months it’s hard to imagine 1 will be kept intact before 2022.

The cuts should be made throughout the range of middle management- there are too many regional and district mangers

Yes, however the contract with Exact requires a set number of interactions that cannot be achieved without adequate rep coverage (team 1 or 2 alone won’t be enough). I don’t anticipate any major changes until end of 2022 if no additional drugs are purchased or no new co-promotes are in place.

Team 1 will be co-promoting the new uterine fibroid drug.

Xeljanz will be 1st to lay off
Thats why 60% reps and 75% DMs have turned over past 24months cuz the smart savvy ones are always 1st to find better gigs and 1st off a sinking ship.
Those left will be fighting each other for chicken scraps & likely no industry opportunity as the new virtual hybrid model will take jobs
