A vacant territory outselling you, you should be proud.

Outselling!?! You do realize the role is not “selling” the product itself, right!? And that the gsr numbers are not based on their own performance. It means nothing to be at the top or on the bottom, the numbers are not based off GI utilization that’s why this role continues to make 0 sense. It was created to sell the pipeline of products which would have been great. The gsr would be able to get paid on their own performance and be proud of that. That could take over a year now to happen so have a little compassion for the people who don’t even get to be a true sales rep like they used to ...with a leader that refuses to make changes in the right direction.

I’m pretty sure no one ever said they were proud of this....this actually highlights the fact that the GSR role is not being compensated or ranked fairly. Selling an idea to a customer who doesn’t want it deserves better leadership.

Spoken like a true PMR who thought they were Specialty Rep material. Not all are cut out for this role, the external hires seem to be more successful than internal transfers, so there must be something there. If you're blaming the pipeline delay on GI leadership you might want to redirect your frustration. Remember that thing called COVID??? you think leadership at any level was prepared for that?

PMRs were promoted into GI spots to keep the peace.

People are leaving ALL OVER Exact. Genomic reps for other companies. GI team is falling apart. More PMRs would have jumped ship but they went to Women’s Health for a change of scenery. No one at Leadership is willing to address this?? This is the most discouraging time here, ever.

Make no mistake though. People are leaving the GI team because JJ is a toxic asshole. If people didn’t have to work for a living, there would be no GI team bc every single person would leave on the GI side. Apparently he was known for this at his other company as well. No one wanted to work for him.

For having to deal with all this toxicity, how much are GI Specialty reps getting paid??
